Unfastening the last button of the red shirt, Calix let the fabric slide down from his broad shoulders before throwing it into the laundry bin. He stood opposite one of the wardrobe closets, choosing the pajamas.
Ring! Ring!
Calix glanced in the direction of the ringing. His eyes settled on his work phone lying on the vanity table. Without taking any of the pajamas, he leisurely walked to accept the call.
Mr. Wei's name was displayed on the screen.
"Hello."
Leaning his hip against the vanity table, Calix answered the attorney's call. His eyes drifted to the wall clock of the walk-in wardrobe. The time was closely approaching nine-thirty in the evening.
Maybe, Calliope had already brought her storybooks and toys to Leslie's bedroom. He better hurry to them.
"Good evening, Second Young Master. I've completed the tasks for tonight."
