From what I remember,
Those eyes, like ice. They look cold and empty, just like a blank slate too. I can see the reflection of my own image in them, as if staring back at a mirror.
It also seemed like a wall of ice, blocking off emotions and empathy.
The lack of humanity in those eyes made me feel uneasy and suspicious. I couldn't read her emotions or intentions, that coldness was shielding something underneath.
I remember being overwhelmed and taken aback by the boldness and coldness of her touch. She seemed completely unfazed by everything I said or did, as if she wasn't affected.
Hellebores Madden.
I wonder if it's all just a facade, a mask she uses to hide her true intentions. I am not sure if she's an innocent lamb or a vicious wolf underneath.
Are you as innocent as you appear, or are you a cunning hypocrite performing a damned staged play?
The familiar footsteps of my subordinate drew my attention. They approached me and spoke in a polite and respectful tone.
"Sir, the interrogation room is ready for us to begin."
I turned my attention towards my subordinates, and I could see their nervous expressions as they awaited my reply. The footsteps of the escort men can be heard heading towards the interrogation room, indicating that they were ready to bring her in.
"Good, I need no warm-up. Let's get this interrogation started." I responded in a calm and controlled manner.
I took a deep breath and began walking towards the interrogation room. I walked with a commanding sense towards the interrogation room. My subordinate walked alongside me, his steps matching my pace. I kept my eyes forward and remained silent, focused solely on the task ahead.
But then I paused in my steps, the calm and steady pace was interrupted by the sound of a commotion.
As I made my way to the direction of the interrogation room, the chaos and confusion on the lowest floor caught my attention. I stopped and looked over the balustrade from the mezzanine. The scene below me was unsettling, with men running around in all directions. The noise and commotion made it difficult to understand what was going on. I watched for a moment from my vantage point, trying to make sense of the situation.
A sudden burst of violence erupted below, and I saw her engaging my men in a fight. Her movements were swift and graceful, wielding an unexpected weapon with deadly precision. I watched in disbelief as she fought off my men with ease, seeming unfazed by their attacks.
And there it is.
I wasn't wrong.
Her expression remained cold and unaffected. Her eyes were like a predator, focused and determined. She moved with a swiftness and agility that was nearly inhuman. Those empty eyes, they were like a cold abyss.
Piercing and emotionless, not showing a shred of emotion or fear. Her empty eyes were like a gaping void. There is also that cold and calculating demeanor, as if she was completely unconcerned about my men's attempts to subdue her.
I felt an eerie chill run down my spine as I watched her fight my men with brutal skill. It left me feeling uneasy and unsettled.
It makes me want her dead even more. She's dangerous.
"Boss, we'll bring all the men in. We won't let her get away." The subordinate looked at me, his face reflecting that he was waiting for my approval.
I gave a subtle shake of my head, signaling that I was letting her go for now. We locked eyes for a moment, and without verbal exchange. The subordinate appeared somewhat displeased with my decision but remained silent, understanding that I was giving myself time to think. It was obvious that he was dissatisfied with the lack of immediate action, but he appeared to respect my decision.
I watched in silence as she effortlessly took down my men one by one, her skill was on full display. It was a cold sight to behold, but a sobering one nonetheless.
I observed the aftermath of the fight and saw that she had indeed overpowered my men. However, she inly handled the amateurs with ease and efficiency for now, but I had a feeling that she could handle much more than that.
She took a deep breath and afterward, she walked towards the elevator, seemingly unfazed by the chaos and destruction that she had left in her wake. I watch her as she walks towards the elevator, her cold expression and defiant manner giving off a sense of superiority.
After a few seconds, the door closes, and the elevator takes her away.
"She walks off as if she hasn't just taken down a batch of our new recruits. What are your orders, Boss?" I saw my subordinate staring at me expectantly, waiting for a response.
I thought about my options for a solid strategy. I decided to make a change of plans.
"There is a change of plans," I said, my tone firm and decisive.
I took a moment to think through my alternate plan for dealing with her. I looked at my subordinate, and with a cold and decisive look, I issued my orders.
"Prepare the sixth floor and gather the men there. We will be executing a new strategy that will involve directly confronting her. We will take a different approach."
"If hell's coming to it, then I will take her down personally." I added with a dark expression.
I saw my men scrambling to obey my orders. A sense of discipline and unity filled the atmosphere as they went ahead and took up positions and began the preparations.
I shifted my attention back to the woman and followed her path as she left the elevator. I watched her closely, keeping my distance and out of her line of sight. I paid close attention to her movements and watched her every step.
As I watched as she stepped out of the elevator, she began examining the paintings with a keen eye. She moved slowly and deliberately, almost as if she was walking into a gallery. It was clear that she had an appreciation for art and an observant eye.
She admired the paintings like a true connoisseur, taking the time to appreciate their beauty.
I felt a sudden curiosity towards her, wondering about her background and interests.
I noticed a subtle change in her expressionless eyes. The dullness seemed to slowly fade away, and a strange brightness appeared instead. It was almost as if there was something more behind her eyes, something deep and mysterious.
Fascination.
I found myself fascinated by the change and I couldn't find the words to explain it.
After observing the paintings in such a solemn and serious manner, she had shifted her demeanor and was now mimicking the paintings.
Hm?
I was suddenly struck by the humor of the situation. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the sight of her mimicking the paintings. Her expressions and gestures were so authentic and lifelike, as if she were a part of the artworks themselves.
I watched with curiosity as she moved onto the next floor after she seemed satisfied with the artwork mimicking. She seemed in her own little world, enjoying the art and the quiet atmosphere. It was refreshing to see someone taking the time to appreciate the surrounding beauty.
I observe her with fascination as she finds herself surrounded by statues. The statues were of various sizes and shapes, some carved out of marble and others out of wood. Some were decorated with intricate details and patterns, while others were more simple and minimalist.
I watched as she climbed onto a stool to take a closer look at the facial expressions of the statues.
The curiosity and attention to detail were endearing.
As if she was a child fascinated by a new discovery. She was examining the sculptures from different angles, studying their expressions and their anatomy.
I saw her suddenly mimicking the statues. She moved with fluidity and ease, on top of the stool as if it were a part of the sculpture itself. It was fascinating to watch her, almost as if she had become one with the art itself.
Acting and posing like the figures in the artwork. She moved with precision and grace, depicting the statue's movements and even their facial expressions.
Beautiful.
While the sudden shift in her eyes was puzzling, it was also intriguing. I felt a strange attraction to that mysterious brightness, as if I was being drawn in. It was as if her eyes were calling to me, almost demanding my attention. I wanted to know more, to understand what was happening inside her mind and to unravel the mystery behind those eyes.
I took a deep breath. I knew that my alternate plan was about to be put to the test. I walked ahead towards the sixth floor.
