Chapter 17 - Growing Up A Teen

Xu Jun stuffed and emptied his bag, placing it beneath his bed and went to the bathroom for a wash. Once inside, he turned on the shower only to realize the tap only had cold water.

His lips pursed as he decided not to speak about. Honestly speaking, even though his two parents were useless, they at last took care of his basic needs such as hot water and food. It was only when his identity was revealed did they come together to kill him.

Thus, Xu Jun didn't actually have a habit of bathing with cold water, but what choice did he have?

He gritted his teeth and imagined his big brother giving him a nice, soothing bath as he turned on the facet. Cold water poured down the shower onto his body, making him shiver from head to toe. But as he imagined the man's hands rubbing soap on his body, he also did the same. This activity filled his heart with peace.

When he was done, he finally opened his eyes and sighed, turning the shower off. After dressing up, he walked out only to find out everyone was still ignoring him.

Since he had just gotten admission in this place, he didn't have to do anything but get himself well acquainted with this place. Earlier, he was going to ask his roommates' help, but since they still wanted to continue to ignore him, he could only go out on his own.

On his way, he opened the window that he hadn't opened for a while and felt extremely surprised to see a side mission pop-up right on his screen. He was shocked and stunned for a while because he hadn't gotten a side mission ever in his life.

When he looked at the pop-up carefully he realized it also indicated what he would get once he passes the mission: ten thousand points.

Interesting. That meant he could also purchase props, eh?

This small amount of information made Xu Jun feel jubilant as he looked at the side mission.

"Kill the spy."

Wait what spy?

Xu Jun tilted his head as he stared at those words with a frown on his face. He was only a ten year old boy who could hardly understand the ways of the world. He just freaking learned about hover autos a few days ago! How do you expect him to find a spy and actually kill him?!

Xu Jun quickly turned the window off and decided not to care about it anymore. He should only focus on the task at hand, which is to become a topper as soon as possible!

Five years passed in the blink of an eye. Throughout the period, Liu Yang continued to care for the boy who grew up to become a teenager, a little rebellious at that. Of course, given his schedule, he couldn't go on meeting the boy every single week, so he would often miss the parent-teacher meeting dates, making the young boy angrier and clingier the next time.

Of course, Liu Yang had indeed turned a little softer all these months, but he still felt a little aloof as if his heart never belonged to the man, and he was temporarily taking care of him. More importantly, he still felt a trace of vigilance toward the young man, making him keep the teen at an arm's length.

That day, he finally had enough time to come and see the kid's teachers.

Everyone at school now knew he was the boy's guardian without any blood relation.

As he walked into the staff room, he was greeted by a long exhale and sigh as the teacher said, "How am I going to explain it to your guardian now? You're really in trouble, this time young man."

"But….." A crisp voice echoed into the background, the kind between adulthood and childish, making him sound sweet and rough at the same time. "I didn't do anything!"

"Don't lie. We all found you on the scene where that kid was injured. We all know you have an ill relationship with your classmates, especially that person who sat beside your seat. He bullied you all your life, and is this how you treat him instead of contacting the authorities? Shame on you, young man!"

"First," The teenager seemed calm as he spoke, "I don't have an ill relationship, I just don't talk to them and they don't talk to me. That's all there is to it, and my seatmate doesn't bully me. He only likes to point fingers at me for everything he did…." The teen paused for a moment and added, "Well, you can call this a kind of bullying, but I have always ignored him. Why would I sneak an attack right before my exams when you also know I top every subject and even practicals? This doesn't make sense."

The teen also realized something when speaking, his green eyes squinted as he looked at the other carefully and said, "Teacher, if you know he was bullying me, why didn't you do anything?"

The teacher seemed stunned at those words. But before he could open his mouth, he heard an extremely familiar, cold voice coming from the doorway: "Someone's bullying Xu Jun?"

Just then, a familiar teenager turned his head as a gust of wind passed through his short white hair, moving away the bangs off his forehead. His eyes lit up as they finally showed a hint of emotion.

"Brother!"

Liu Yang had heard enough of this term, and he didn't care honestly. If this young man wanted to see him as a brother, so be it. It wasn't like they were real brothers anyway.

But that wasn't the point. He stared at the teacher with his cold gaze and asked again, "What's going on?"

By this time, after five more years, Liu Yang finally managed to become a Major General of the kingdom, becoming world wide famous among youths. He still remained unmarried, scary omega, whose even name was enough to scare criminals away. Ever since he took over the general position, crime rates decreased tremendously and everyone admired him.

It was just that because of his work, he couldn't come to the school for a long time. That's why, when the teacher actually saw the man, his face paled as he nearly peed his pants in fright.

F*ck! The only mistake he ever made was to ignore bullying, and this was heard by the evil omega himself! He was dead!
