There is a story that I need to tell. Of Creatures , fairy tales, and Demons. Of betrayal and death. The information I have found I have changed families' names to protect myself and those who hide from these Creatures . However, this story that I write has to be told solely because it is a history that is hidden from us. May the stalkers have mercy and grant me a quick death when they find me.
The Mob
Dear Akina,
My daughter, it pains me to see you away from home for so long. I know you are doing us proud. Please come home safe. Down to business then. The church has gotten word of a small village that is tearing itself apart. There are stories of riots and fires. You are to investigate and put a stop to this madness. You have permission, from the king Savuin, to use any means necessary. Be safe, Akina. Stay by Desmir, and he will keep you safe. May God be by your side in these dark times.

Knight Desmir folds the letter When Lady akina opens the carriage door
"How goes the reading, Desmir?" lady akina says
"It goes milady."
Lady Veda enters the carriage,and then sits across from Desmir, as Desmir gives her the letter he says "Your father still believes that I need to protect you."
Lady Veda chuckles, and takes the letter."Honestly, I believe that is him saying I need to keep you out of trouble."
Desmir laughs "Perhaps, however"..Then there is a distant explosion a outside of the carriage cutting off Desmir.
"Kill the demon!" someone shouts. The door swings open, and Lord Pravis jumps into the carriage.
"What's going on, Ratomir?" Lady Veda asks. with a trouble look on her face.
Out of breath, and running for his life, Lord Pravis takes a deep breath to gather his thoughts. says "Angry mob... Hunting a man.. Shopkeeper says he's a demon."
"I guess that explains the villagers burning their own buildings."Desmir says opening the carriage door, to leave."Well, we must help him, surely they have been misinformed."
Lord Pravis grabs Desmir. "Are you insane, Desmir?"
"He does have a point, Des, a mob doesn't take too kindly to strangers, even less from an invading country," Lady Veda chides but this may be what father was talking about."
"We have to do something," Desmir says as he jerks his hand from Lord Pravis' grasp and hops out of the carriage, and trotts toward the mob.Lady veda follows suit grabbing her weapon and joining Dessmir "come on Pravis." she yells
"sigh of course." Pravis says
The mob is running through the village, hurling torches into the windows as they passed by. Everyone was screaming and roaring up the crowd. Desmir took the alley path away from the mob and began to sprint. Wherever they were going, it wasn't to ask for salt. Lady Veda stays behind Desmir with Lord Pravis behind her. They got ahead of the mob and saw a man standing on top of a building looking at them. Even from far away, Desmir could see the composure of the man on top of the building.
"He looks oddly calm for a man about to be hunted down and killed."
"What did they say he did again?" Desmir asks.
"They say he was caught eating the villagers," Lord Pravis says, answering Desmir's question, still behind Lady Veda.
"That can't be true, right? Desmir says
it doesn't matter. There's no way that one man can take on that many people and we came here to stop the riots so we stop them." Lady Veda says.
They jogg to the end of the alley and turn to the front of the mob. "Stop! I am Lady Veda, and these are my companions, by order of King Savuin I order you to stand down."
The villagers stopp, apparently not able to run over a woman . A beast of a man stepps forth and looks at Lady Veda. "Move aside lady veda , before you, too, are killed. That demon must die," He voiced, low and menacing growl.
"This doesn't look good," Lord Pravis says.
"Stand your ground." Desmir retorts back . then puts his hand on his sword and stepps forward. "Stop this madness! '' he yells'' You will kill a man out of assumptions that he is a demon!"
"That man is a demon!" Someone in the crowd screams as the rest of the mob continues to throw out accusation after accusation. "There was nothing left of her!" One man hollered."She was a husk! I saw him do it! " A woman screamed. "He made me think things like I killed my whole family because Reality was just a lie sent to us by creepy Immortal creatures called Nurin."
Desmir ingors the cleary whacked out man looks up at the beast man after a few seconds. The Beast man says "Stand aside, Veda and champions, before we move you."
Desmir's hands twitched clearly this isn't going to stop any bloodshed. He could feel the man on top of the building, staring down upon him. Desmir looks up, and for a second, he could see her pale face. And red eyes. Thirsty as if she had gone days without drinking a single drop of water. Desmir drew his sword.
"I do not want to hurt you, but I will if I must," He says. we will take the women into our custody. you have my word she will see justice?"
" no you will die like fools," The man stepps to the side then…..
The mob charges forward
