Jason,a young 18 year old with short rugged brown hair and dark blue eyes with a relatively toned physique, woke up to the sound of his alarm blaring in his ears. He groaned and rolled over, trying to ignore the annoying noise. But then he remembered - today was the first day of his galactic academy hunter training. He had been waiting for this day his whole life. He jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed, eager to start his training.
As he rushed downstairs, he saw his little sister Bella playing with her toys in the living room. 'Bella, I have to leave for school now,' Jason said, trying to sound stern but failing as a grin spread across his face.
Bella looked up at him with a pout. 'But I want you to play with me,' she whined.
'I promise I'll play with you when I get back, but right now I have to go or I'll be late for class,' Jason replied, ruffling her big blonde hair.
Bella's pout turned into a sad frown. 'Okay,' she said, giving Jason a hug before he left.
Jason ran out of the house and towards the hover bus stop, but to his dismay, he saw the bus flying away without him. He cursed under his breath and looked around for an alternative mode of transportation. Then he remembered his trusty bike, which he had left behind in the garage. He quickly ran to the garage and hopped on his bike, pedaling as fast as he could towards the monster hunter school.
But just as he was about to reach the school, disaster struck. His bike chain snapped, and he was left stranded in the middle of the street. Jason let out a frustrated sigh and looked around for other options. He saw the towering buildings and alleys and knew what he had to do. He ditched his bike and ran towards the nearest alleyway, weaving through the narrow spaces and jumping over trash cans. He could hear the sound of his heart pounding in his ears as he dodged obstacles and made his way towards the school.
But the alleys were not enough. He had to get creative. He spotted a building with a low roof and used it to launch himself onto the next building. He could feel the adrenaline coursing through his veins as he jumped from one building to another, not stopping for a second. He could see the school building in the distance and pushed himself harder, determined not to be late for his first day.
As he reached the main road, he saw a long line of traffic blocking his way. He swore under his breath and looked for a way to get through. Then he remembered the jet boots his dad had given him for his birthday. He quickly put them on and activated them, soaring over the cars and trucks. He could hear people gasping and shouting as he flew past them, but he didn't care. He had to get to school.
Finally, he reached the school gates, panting and sweating but exhilarated. He quickly ran towards the classroom, where his classmates were already waiting for him. He could see the surprised and impressed looks on their faces as he entered the arena, right on time.
The sun was rising over the mountains, casting a golden hue over the roof and through the windows of the Galactic Monster Hunting Academy. A group of young men and women stood in a line, their eyes fixed on the grizzled old man walking towards them. Captain Thorne was a legend within the academy, known for his bravery and expertise in hunting down the deadliest of monsters.
Jason stood among the group, his heart racing with anticipation. He had dreamt of becoming a member of the elite monster-hunting squad since he was a child. And now, after years of rigorous training and countless tests, he had finally been chosen.
As Captain Thorne approached, his piercing green eyes scanned each of the recruits, his scarred cheek giving him a rugged appearance. He stopped in front of them, his face stern and serious.
'Welcome to the Galactic Monster Hunting Academy,' he said in a gruff voice. 'I am Captain Thorne, and I will be your trainer and mentor. You have been chosen to be part of the elite squad, and it is my job to make sure you are ready for whatever comes your way.'
The recruits stood at attention, their hearts filled with a mixture of fear and excitement. They had heard stories about Captain Thorne and his incredible skills in battling monsters. And now, they are finally going to learn from the best.
'You are about to learn about the different types of monsters we hunt,' Captain Thorne continued. 'They come in all shapes and sizes, and each one is more dangerous than the last. You will need to be quick, smart, and fearless if you want to survive.'
Jason's heart raced even faster as he imagined the thrill of facing off against terrifying creatures. He had always been fascinated by monsters, and now he was going to be a part of the team that protected the galaxy from their wrath.
'Sir, what kind of monsters will we be facing?' one of the recruits asked, breaking the silence.
Captain Thorne turned to her, a small smirk on his face. 'That, my dear, is something you will have to find out for yourself. But believe me, they are unlike anything you have ever encountered.'
He then went on to explain the different tactics and strategies they would be learning during their training. They would be taught how to use various weapons and how to work as a team. But most importantly, they would learn how to use their minds to outsmart their enemies.
As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, Captain Thorne led them to a large hall where they would be staying for the duration of their training. The walls were adorned with weapons and maps of different galaxies, giving the recruits a sense of the vastness of their mission.
Jason couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with his fellow recruits. They were all here for the same reason – to become part of the elite monster-hunting squad. They had all been chosen for their strength, courage, and determination.
The rest of the day was spent in intense training. They learned about the different types of monsters – from small, venomous creatures to giant, fire-breathing dragons. They were taught how to use various weapons and how to work together as a team.
As the sun began to set, Captain Thorne dismissed them for the day. 'Rest up, young hunters,' he said. 'Tomorrow, we will begin your first mission.'
The team gathered in their dormitory, still buzzing with excitement from the day's training. Ion was the first to speak up. 'That was intense,' she said, wiping the sweat off her forehead.
Lea nodded in agreement. 'But it's going to be worth it. We are going to be the best monster hunters in the galaxy.'
Jaden grinned and flexed his muscles. 'Hell yeah, we are.'
But Jason couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in his stomach. 'Did you guys feel that?' he asked, looking around at his teammates. 'There's something out there, something we're not prepared for.'
The others exchanged glances, sensing the seriousness in Jason's voice. 'What do you mean?' Lea asked.
'I don't know,' Jason replied. 'But I can sense a powerful and ancient presence. It's like nothing we've ever faced before.'The team fell into silence, each lost in their own thoughts. They knew that their training would prepare them for most monsters, but the unknown was a different story.
