Since the beginning of time, abilities always have been connected with the sinners born on [Ivleunnil]; some were strong, some were weak, some were only weak in the beginning but turned strong upon wielding them continuously over time, while some were extremely strong at the beginning but were deemed useless as time passed, such were the history of the abilities on their world.
But,
No matter what, every ability could effect their world in one way or another, hence they weren't and couldn't just be wielded in way that posed threat to the worlds of [Ivleunnil], hence the academy was founded to help the next generation again control over their sins and bloodlines as a bottom line before they were taught to gain control over the abilities they'd come to possess.
Hence, though they were born with their sins and bloodlines that were the very foundations of their characters, they were able to change and adapt, and the said change was brought by the academy, [Ipardmerth, Academy Of Sins].
This academy worked on a point based system, and there were points for basically everything within the academy which worked with strict rules and to join the academy any and every body had to obey the rules, these rules were the kind that filtered almost everybody who weren't ready for change. It was an academy where everybody was welcome as they could join without being discriminated against, but the hierarchy still reigned in the shadows, and as an academy that taught and pushed its cadets for survival, the competition was encouraged and everything was right if their opponent cadet wasn't killed.
Or so, the information resurfaced in Raven's mind as he strode on the very depths of a towering cliff which peered into the clouded veil of thick mist.
The academy was shaped like an humongous disk which was stuck in a cliff, vertically. Only ¾ of the academy was visible from any and everywhere, as ¼ of the structure was in the towering cliff.
Around the depths of the said cliff, was filled with azure coloured vegetation which blew gentle yet strong breezes that that could easily lift and fling away anybody from Earth or somewhere else, yet the same breeze enveloped and protected those born on [Ivleunnil].
The only reason Iria and Raven were being protected by the breeze was because they were indeed 'born' on [Ivleunnil] even though their souls were from a place far away.
How could the [Ivleunnil]'s atmosphere differentiate between those born elsewhere was a mystery, but the monsters wandering here and there was flung away by the breezes around the academy.
'I don't know about Iria, but I'm definitely not from this world' Thought Raven as he strode forward with no Iria around him, because as a Noble she was teleported directly into the academy, while with his current status as a commoner, he had no choice but to walk there.
He was donned in a white shirt, royal blue blazer and trousers, with his perfect figure and his charming smile, he looked devilishly handsome in that uniform. The women around him would turn to glance at him time and time again, but as he was busy pondering over ways that'd help him reach his goal faster, he paid no heed to the intensive gazes around him.
'As expected, women are the only way…..' He thought as he continued on with an enigmatic gait.
'I should target-' As soon as that thought flashed in his mind, Raven froze in his steps, as his smile turned strangely sad. He wasn't like this, he wasn't the kind to 'target' anybody, he was a man who had learned to smile at whatever adversity he had come to face, but that was when he was only 'Dan;' with a gazillion memoirs of saints, who were kind to everybody and everything around them only to be greeted with pain that was more torturous than any kind he had known to have existed, all he knew was that he didn't want to live like that again.
What was the use of being kind if he was going to be hurt anyway?
He didn't know what kind of a life he wanted to live, he didn't know what was the happiness he wished for, he didn't know what kind of a freedom he wanted, because all he knew of those things were from the memories where he felt it was enough, he had lived long enough and he was tired, where he understood that what he was feeling wasn't happiness, and where he felt suffocated from living for others.....that wasn't what he wanted.
Living for others always caused him pain, and it was only pain. So, what he wanted was a life that was unlike all the lives he had experienced first hand. He….
He wanted to live his current life as if it was the redemption for all those gazillion lives.
'What do 'you' mean 'target' then!!? Doesn't that just imply that I'm not different from those that only approached me for their own benefit?!' Raven yelled at himself, inwardly, but he also questioned if that wasn't the best method to reach his goal, then what other way existed for him?
Such was his current mind set.
He was in conflict with himself for believing in two opposing ideologies.
While he was like that, "Hello, junior, who is standing here like a statue blocking the way for others to pass by, can you please follow me and show me your ID card?" Said a sweet voice that made him snap out of his inner conflict and gaze down at the woman who had just spoken to him.
In front of him was a woman whose height reached Raven's chest, she had a triangle shaped figure which was donned in a white shirt with a few buttons unbuttoned purposefully, a royal blue arm cover velvet shrug which capped down her back and ended with frills that layered over her decorative frilled short skirt.
She had cute and innocent facial features with neck length light blue coloured hair with curls at the ends, while her bright blue irises glimmered in mischief and innocence.
'Junior, ID card, I'm blocking the way?' Raven thought as he tilted his head to the side, puzzled. The path around him was wide stretched, hence everybody could walk past him if they wished to, and he was pretty sure there was no such thing as an ID card as the academy's uniform in and itself was a proof, and….
'Is she my senior? But she is so shor-'
With a strange shiver, "You just thought I was short, didn't you!?" The self proclaimed senior exclaimed as she jumped back and pointed her index finger at him.
'What!? She can read minds!?'
"No, I don't read minds, it is just obvious what you could be thinking!!" She exclaimed.
'Just how many people did she have to deal with, to predict what the other person in front of her is thinking…..'
"Don't pity me!!"
"Now, you are really confusing me….." Raven finally spoke with a soft smile, that had the woman blushing.
"Hmph! Follow me!!" She said and turned to walk away, without even giving him a chance to refuse her.
"I just wanted to pretend to be a senior and rag a good looking junior, but this kid just ruined the fun for me!! Hmph, just wait! I'll teach you a lesson in the detention chamber!!" She grumbled under her breath, revealing all her plans to Raven, who was able to hear her words loud and clear.
But, that didn't stop him from following after her, after all, her presence somehow killed his conflicting thoughts.
He followed behind her until they reached a seclude area behind the forest(y) terrain around them, upon reaching the area, she halted and turned to face Raven, who also halted in his steps and curiously gazed at her approaching him, and
SNAP-!
She snapped her fingers, he could see a bright blue coloured sparks with an instantaneous cycle of a few gears that were only seen in a split second gap in between the snap of her fingers that disappeared an instant later.
With a flicker, a magic circle manifested beneath their feet and both of them disappeared from the spot, but everything that happened right in front of Raven was recorded in his mind.
And after that split second, they had teleported into an empty room with no doors or windows, and from the mood in the room, he could tell that it indeed was a detention chamber as she had mumbled.
With a smug look on her face, she waited to see what kind of an expression he'd make upon realising he was trapped, but instead of showing her what she wanted to see, Raven just looked around the room for a second before he turned to gaze at her with an innocent face.
'W-what, why isn't he flustered!? Didn't things that normally shouldn't happen just happen with him!? Why is he so silent?!?' She yelped inwardly.
"What is your name, senior?" Raven asked.
But she had long since stopped hearing anything. 'If I don't get this junior flustered, then I'll lose the bet with her! And how did this guy not get flustered!!? Isn't it common to be flustered in an abrupt situation with an unknown person!? How do I get this guy flustered!? Come on, Lynn, you are a level 100 sinner, who has finally managed to remove the limitations of sins!! This much is nothing! So calm down, and think!! How do you get an innocent man flustered!!?' She thought, going through Raven's face value.
'Somehow…..I get the feeling I can read her mind…..' Raven thought, seeing her constantly changing expressions, until finally her eyes shone in a brilliant glint as she gazed up at his face with a cheeky yet seemingly sensual smile as she neared him, making him feel like something bad yet unforgettable was going to happen.
And,
He indeed was right,
After all, the method she opted to get him flustered was,
Seduction.
