Chapter 55 - Chapter 411

Chapter 411

William now resembled a bloodied dragon, and the reward for killing him could only be claimed by a single individual, without any group buff bonuses. The remaining seven adversaries had no intention of giving up on their victory, and they brandished their cards for a fierce attack.

His royal highness silently cursed his earlier lack of caution. Legends were indeed legends, and when they truly set their sights on taking his life, their blows were truly painful. He began to lose Health Point rapidly and was resurrected with a resurrection armor after just three minutes.

However, when people saw him rise again with restored Health Point, they did not back down. Instead, they believed he was on the verge of defeat, assuming he could not endure much longer. As they were all part of the dark forces, they didn't possess many skills aimed at group destruction, especially ones similar to the last-ditch residual blood explosion.

Yet, William seized the moment and caught two of the more aggressive attackers off-guard. He hurled a narrow sword, more than 100 meters in length, infused with the power of dawn, and swept through their ranks.

In an instant, two of his foes lost their heads, leaving five remaining.

However, the Heavy-Hammer attached to a chain swung through the air and struck William with a resounding explosion.

Bang.

William could block the blow with Thunder God's left hand but opted not to resist it too forcefully, as he risked damaging his arm. Instead, he was sent flying like a shell, embedding himself into an ice wall.

As his highness got back on his feet, the pale orc Kavos, equipped with a heavy shield, used a charge skill to bash William in the face, sending him crashing into the ice wall once again.

Kavos used his heavy shield to pin William to the ice wall and positioned his right hand to thrust a sword towards him, shouting, "Finish him!"

However, those who had rushed in were met with a soul shockwave, a large-scale AOE attack that extended hundreds of meters, leaving them shaken to their very cores. Even those with limited mental resistance were nearly driven to madness.

Among them, the pale orc Kavos suffered the worst. Not only did he experience the soul shockwave, but William's spiritual explosion also penetrated his mind.

In a matter of seconds, various judgments flooded Kavos's thoughts, leaving him disoriented for two seconds.

William did not show mercy when he saw this opportunity. He struck Kavos's forehead with a powerful thunder strike.

Click!

The sound of Kavos's skull shattering filled the air.

Critical hit damage: 83034 Points!

Kavos was a shield warrior with both high defense and over 300000 Health Point, three times that of William, so the immense damage wasn't enough to kill him outright. However, the next punch to the face landed a critical blow as well.

Kavos, who had been unyielding in his resistance, now found his Health Point teetering on the brink of death.

William aimed to finish him off, but the Blood Hammer intervened, swinging his chain hammers to halt the prince's momentum. His attacks were relentless and forced William to retreat.

Unfortunately, no one noticed the space scepter in William's hand.

Shua.

In an instant, he disappeared before their eyes.

The next moment, William reappeared behind the Blood Hammer, overseeing Kavos, and brought down a sword that spanned hundreds of meters in length.

Boom.

As the sword descended, Kavos was transformed into a dark stone.

The sword's effect caused it to crack and shatter the stone, but William had yet to finish Kavos off entirely.

However, it was clear that no one anticipated the space ring in William's possession.

Buzzing.

In the blink of an eye, a space ripple emanated from William, covering a radius of 3000 meters. The attackers, who had been on the verge of striking William, were halted once more by the AOE effect.

But the Blood Hammer, who had stored up immense anger, began a transformation. His eyes turned blood-red, and both his hands emitted a bright red light. His physique grew, his armor fell away, and he transformed into a blood giant, standing more than three meters tall with rippling, explosive muscles.

William glanced at him, and the Blood Hammer initiated an attack.

Boom!

The earth beneath their feet gave way as the Blood Hammer lunged at William, and the two began a furious brawl. In just a few seconds, the land around them had transformed into a crater, reminiscent of a meteorite impact zone.

Faced with the Blood Hammer's overwhelming transformation, William dared not resist directly. Yet, he forgot that others were still present on the battlefield.

In just a few seconds, one of the attackers struck, casting a Spell that caused the air to stagnate and William's movements to slow considerably. In that moment, William saw a colossal fist hurtling towards his face.

William nearly choked on the water of life, his last resort to restore his Health Point. But a miracle occurred. A golden, thunder-like spiritual projection emerged from within him. It raised its hand to block the Blood Hammer's attack and struck back, sending him tumbling hundreds of meters.

Holy Spirit Blessing!

William was overjoyed. It was the second time he had encountered this rare occurrence, out of over a million words. Only when the Holy Spirit intervened did he manage to block the Blood Hammer's attack and gain an advantage.

The Holy Spirit projection, after striking the Blood Hammer, looked down at William with a hint of disdain before returning to his body.

At this Point, William turned his attention to the individual who had used control skills on him. The assailant swallowed hard and began to retreat.

Unfortunately, a thunder arrow struck him before he could escape, landing squarely between his eyebrows.

Bang.

The arrow's effect caused arcs of energy to course through his body, stiffening him for 0.2 seconds.

In that instant, William activated Sage Ray's incarnation, closing the gap between himself and the immobilized foe. In mid-air, he thrust his sword downward.

The cursed sword pierced down from the top of the enemy's head, causing him to kneel heavily on the ground. Blood and tears flowed from his eyes as his life reached zero.

As a deadly attack approached from behind, William stepped on the shoulders of the fallen adversary. He swiftly pulled out the cursed sword, flipped over, and soared into the sky, heading straight for Kavos.

Kavos was in the process of regenerating his Health Point. Given enough time, he could become a formidable shield once again. He desperately wanted to escape, but William wasn't about to give him that chance.

With a burst of energy, William activated the Dawn Shock, a super collision skill. He transformed into a thunderous ray and struck Kavos with incredible force, pushing him all the way into an iceberg.

Boom.

Kavos was embedded in the iceberg, still attempting to resist William's onslaught.

A thunder-infused fist was brought down upon Kavos's head.

Boom!

Kavos's head shattered like a falling watermelon, crumbling apart.

William's left hand, known as the "God's Left Hand," proved its strength. Regardless of who you were or how powerful you might be, in the face of his fist, as long as you weren't a Sage, you were nothing.

At this Point, William slowly turned his head to survey the battlefield. Only three enemies remained, and he knew victory was within reach. If they continued to fight, these adversaries would surely be defeated.

William's various abilities, unique techniques, and even the interventions of the Holy Spirit had left many Legendary leaders in awe. The transformation of the Blood Hammer's hand had not worn off, and he leaped once more to engage William in a fierce battle.

But as the Blood Hammer leaped into the air, a Legendary leader from the demon clan used a powerful grip to seize him, paying no heed to the gorilla's frantic struggles. They swiftly disappeared from the scene.

Some Legendary and epic leaders from the orc Empire observed this and chose not to interfere. They reached out and grabbed the two remaining soldiers, retreating in the process.

Finally, William could breathe a sigh of relief and settled down on the iceberg, surrounded by the bodies of fallen foes.

A Legendary leader from the Elf family cleared his throat and addressed William, "William, let's gather the spoils and head home. His highness seems in need of some rest."

William raised an eyebrow in puzzlement, but then he noticed thousands of frost dragons hovering in the air.

"Oh, I see now," he replied with understanding.

William swiftly collected the spoils, storing the bodies and equipment in his space ring. He had briefly considered searching for the epic dragon's treasure but thought better of it.

However, several stern gazes were directed at him.

William offered an awkward yet polite smile, saying, "My apologies, I got carried away. A misunderstanding, you see."

But actions spoke louder than words. He had taken these items without any intention of returning them. One of the Legendary leaders couldn't tolerate this and grabbed him by the collar, carrying him away like a chicken.

There was no way out, and it was indeed a shameful situation. Even in another realm's territory, attempting to steal their dragon's treasure so brazenly was a bold move.

William reflected on his actions as he was carried along. He delved into the contents of his space ring, tallying up his day and night's haul.

He had emptied an ordnance warehouse, a grain warehouse, a warm warehouse, obtained two master white dragon bodies, 404 Silag bodies, thousands of pieces of master-grade soldier equipment, several pieces of equipment with the posture of Sages, and even some space rings.

"Should I distribute these?" William pondered, his throat dry. Without a doubt, all these items were worth at least twenty or thirty million Gold Coins.

"But it was quite risky. I almost got myself killed. If it weren't for the extreme north and the fairy queen's attention being elsewhere, things might have ended differently," he sighed. He recognized the need to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary danger.

Especially in light of the Blood Hammer's devastating transformation, his damage output had been overwhelming. Even with a 33% increase in William's holy soul power, he had struggled to match the Blood Hammer's strength.

Nevertheless, amid the danger and rewards, there was still one aspect that puzzled him, the SS task reward.

His victory had inadvertently turned the tide of the battle. The demon army had retreated, and the more crucial achievement was drawing the attention of the Orc Empire, allowing the Dragon Blood Legion to secure the Ever Victorious Legion buff.

This was paramount.

Furthermore, if he succeeded in acquiring the Ever Victorious buff, he would gain the extraordinary talent of the "Legendary Lord." This was a pivotal moment for William.

"This is it," he mused, "Next, it's time to examine the SS task reward. Perhaps it will grant me two more talents?" William chuckled confidently, believing that he had not only fulfilled the SS task but surpassed its requirements. He could only wonder if there were additional talents awaiting him.

After all, he was no longer a master; he was on the verge of becoming a strong soldier. Without a multitude of talent blessings, he dared not become too arrogant.
