'Let follow the humming,' they say!
Honestly, I don't have a damn clue about what's going on?! What the hell does this weird woman mean by she is waiting for us?
"Okay, hold on. What the fuck are you talking about?" I said in disbelief, waving my hands around to emphasize my confusion.
"Well, My Lord, I knew you would follow my humming," Luna replied cheerfully. "Okay, let's just cut to the chase. What do you know about gods and goddesses?" She said passed us flower crowns. "Like the Greek ones?" Damian Snow questioned from bedside me. He must have moved there during all the craziness.
"The Greek gods, specifically Persephone, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hades, and Apollo!" Luna replied with a bright smile and light tone. "Okay, what the fuck does that have to do with anything!?" my sister said in annoyance as she ran her hand through her hair. I walked around Damian to her and put my arm around her shoulders to calm her down. "Do I have to explain everything?" Luna pointed, crossing her arms.
"Yes,"
"Yeah,"
"what the fuck do you think?!,.. bitch," we all replied, annoyed.
"well you guys are a reincarnation of the Greek Gods and goddess I just named," she said nonchalantly, like it is so easy to understand.. please note the sarcasm.
"Okay, I'm done," Tamara replied as she threw her hands up and turned around to walk away. I grasped her hand so she would stop.
"Let's hear her out. We know something weird is happening." I said, looking down at her. She sighed and nodded her head before turning back to my side. "Okay, now that everyone has calmed down, I'll explain in more detail.. as well as I can," Luna stated as she leaned against a tree, making herself comfortable. "Tamara and Daniel are Artemis and Apollo, Ji Hoon and Mikasa are Persephone and Hades, Damian, you are Aphrodite," she said with a big smile and jazz hands.
We all stared at her in disbelief. "WHAT?!" we shouted in unison.
Recognizing our lack of enthusiasm about this revelation, Luna paused for a moment. "I know it sounds crazy, but it's true," she insisted. "You all possess the same powers and abilities as the Greek gods and goddesses you've reincarnated as."
Tamara crossed her arms and glared at Luna. "And what exactly are these powers?" she asked, her tone skeptical. Luna took a deep breath, trying her best to explain. "Artemis, you have the power of the hunt and the ability to communicate with animals. Apollo, you have the power of healing and music. Persephone, you have control over the seasons and the ability to bring life and death. Hades, you have command over the dead and the underworld. And Aphrodite, you possess the power of love and beauty."
Damian who has been relatively quiet until that point, scoffed. "So, you're telling me I'm Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty? That's hard to believe," he said sarcastically.
Luna grinned mischievously. "Well, you have an undeniable effect on people. They can't seem to resist your charm and magnetism," she said, making us roll our eyes.
I sighed, feeling a mixture of disbelief and curiosity. "Okay, let's say for a moment that we believe you. What does this mean for us? What are we supposed to do with these powers?"
Luna's expression turned serious. "As the reincarnations of these powerful beings, there are forces at play that threaten that balance, and it's up to you to stop them."
Ji Hoon, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. "And how are we supposed to do that?"
Luna shrugged. "That's the challenge. We'll figure it out together. I'll guide you and help you unlock your true potential."
"OK, if you are saying it is true," Mikasa started, Luna interjected with an eye smile and head tilt, "which it is. "
"If true, we don't know what we are facing."
"I don't know either. I wasn't told that information." Luna said overly cheerfully.
