Chereads / Seance: The Pentagram Killer / Chapter 5 - Camping

Chapter 5 - Camping

We were all feeling bored and restless, stuck in the same old routine. That's when Mike suggested we go on a camping trip. "Come on, guys, it'll be fun! We can get away from the city, breathe some fresh air, and enjoy nature. What do you say?" he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

We all agreed it was a good idea, especially Lisa and Nick, who were always looking for an excuse to be alone together.

We packed our gear, loaded up the cars, and hit the road. The drive was long, but we made it fun by playing music, telling jokes, and playing games. Lisa and Nick sat in the back seat of Mike's car, cuddling and whispering sweet nothings. Jane and I rode in my car, chatting and laughing. Mike drove ahead of us, occasionally honking his horn or waving his hand out the window.

We arrived at the campsite in the late afternoon. It was a beautiful spot, surrounded by towering trees and the sound of a bubbling stream. We quickly set up our tents, and then gathered around the bonfire. Mike lit the fire, and we all cheered as the flames leaped into the air. We roasted marshmallows, sang songs, and told stories. It was a perfect night.

"Hey, Lisa, are you feeling okay?" Jane asked, noticing that Lisa looked pale and tired. "You're not your usual self."

Lisa smiled weakly and shrugged. "I'm fine, just a bit of travel sickness. It'll pass."

Nick wrapped his arm around her and kissed her forehead. "Do you want me to get you some water, babe?"

Lisa nodded and leaned her head on his shoulder. "That would be nice, thank you."

Nick got up and walked to the stream, carrying a bottle. He filled it with water and returned to Lisa. He handed her the bottle and sat next to her. "Here you go, love. Drink up."

Lisa took a sip and thanked him. She tried to act normal, but we could all tell she was not feeling well. She barely touched her food, and she didn't join in the conversation. She just sat there, clutching her stomach and looking miserable.

We all felt sorry for her, but we didn't want to ruin the mood. We tried to carry on, hoping she'd feel better by morning. But as the night progressed, her condition worsened. She started vomiting, her face drained of color, and the laughter that once echoed through the woods gave way to concern.

Lisa, usually the life of the party, opted to stay alone in her tent, battling whatever ailment had seized her. Nick went with her, holding her hand and comforting her. He looked worried and scared, but he tried to be strong for her.

We all felt helpless and guilty. We wondered if we should take her to the hospital, but we were too far from the nearest town. We hoped it was nothing serious, just a bad case of food poisoning or a stomach bug. We prayed she'd recover soon.

It cast a somber cloud over our campfire conversations, but we tried to carry on, hoping she'd feel better by morning.

As the night deepened, so did the connection between Jane and me. We moved closer to each other, our hands brushing, our eyes locking. I felt a surge of adrenaline, mixed with nervousness and excitement. I wanted to kiss her, but I didn't know if she felt the same way. She must have sensed my hesitation, because she leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Let's go for a walk." I nodded, feeling a rush of relief and anticipation. We got up, grabbing our jackets and flashlights, and headed towards the trail. Mike winked at me, giving me a thumbs up. Lisa and Nick barely noticed, too busy with each other. We walked along the stream, listening to the water and the crickets. The moon and the stars lit our way, creating a romantic atmosphere. We talked about everything and nothing, feeling comfortable and happy. She smiled at me, and I felt my heart skip a beat. We reached a clearing, where the stream widened into a small pond. We sat on a large rock, overlooking the water. She leaned her head on my shoulder, and I wrapped my arm around her. We gazed at the sky, admiring the beauty of the night. She turned to me, and our eyes met. I saw a flicker of desire in her gaze, and I felt a surge of courage. I leaned in, and our lips finally met, a stolen kiss beneath the silent orchestra of nature. It was soft and sweet, gentle and tender. It was perfect. We deepened the kiss, exploring each other's mouths. The world faded away, and we were the only ones who existed. We broke the kiss, breathing heavily, and smiled at each other. She took my hand, and led me to our tent. It became a sanctuary of passion, where we expressed our feelings in the most intimate way. Running my fingers along her body, I explored the curves and contours that connected us in the dim glow of the tent. She moaned softly, arching her back, inviting me to touch her more. I kissed her all over, making her shiver with pleasure. She wrapped her legs around me, pulling me closer to her. I looked into her eyes, and saw the love and trust she had for me. I whispered, "I love you," the words hanging in the air.

As the night unfolded, our passion ignited anew. Jane, with a glint of desire in her eyes, boldly unbuttoned my shirt, revealing the warmth beneath. Her fingers traced the contours of my chest, an electrifying touch that sent shivers down my spine. She leaned in, placing tender kisses on my neck, each one igniting a new wave of sensation.

Feeling the rush of desire, I reciprocated by lowering myself onto her, our bodies becoming one in the embrace of shared longing. With a gentle touch, I placed a finger on her lips, a silent invitation to savor the moment. Her moans, soft and intoxicating, harmonized with the symphony of the night.

In the heat of the moment, I kissed her deeply, feeling her tongue explore my mouth. My hand moved to her breast, gently squeezing and caressing it. She arched her back, inviting me to fill the gaps in between with the unspoken language of desire.

We both felt excited, so I got on top of her, and we kissed more. I put my finger on her lips, and she made some sweet sounds. I moved my hand a bit, and we both enjoyed the moment. She undressed herself and my hands moved over her breasts pressing it.

Things got hotter, and we did more intimate stuff. Just when it was getting really intense, Nick's voice interrupted us. We hurriedly put our clothes back on, shared a quick smile, and went out to join everyone. But when we reached the camp we found that Lisa was missing and Nick was crying.
