Well, Min-ho showed good fighting abilities, but he lost miserably well.
It was past noon as the wind blasted the side of the carriage.
Well, it wasn't just any carriage like the ones pulled by horses, but it was flying.
This was a prototype for the academic project supplied by the Mafia realm as part of their corporation.
Min-ho closed his eyes, letting his mind wander in thoughts.
It was the jerking of the carriage that brought him back to reality.
He looked at Seo-yeon who avoided his gaze, focused on the door of the carriage.
Ever since the little sexual adventure, she had been on the quiet side, avoiding conversations, eye contact and anything that could spark any form of human interaction.
Min-ho didn't mind, he knew she could come around eventually.
They got off the carriage.
Min-ho didn't remember them flying by any ocean or water body, but here they were in a large castle like structures surrounded by water.
It was rather huge, bigger than any castle Min-ho had ever seen.
It was on a high attitude with a city below sitting on the lower level.
As they got off the carriage, spotting their uniforms, Min-ho noticed in his uniform was a bear like embroidery close to the shoulder.
It was a red bear symbol which was the stigma of the martial arts head family, the Kuroganes.
They were standing in an open field as the servants offloaded their luggage, standing close to them were two beautiful ladies.
But their beauties weren't the most distinguish feature, they both had long ears adored with different earrings made of precious materials.
On their shoulders was the stigma of a stag.
The highest symbol of the elves' family.
Min-ho has dealt with a couple of elves in his past life, I meant romantically. Eris was an elf, not just any elf but an ancient one of high status and the ruler of the Arcanthal realm.
They stared at Min-ho with contempt, as if looking down on him.
Elves having a longer life span were rather proud, thinking all other life forms were pets and should worship them.
The light elves were worse, being connected to nature itself, they felt like they ruled the world while the dark elves hardly showed themselves and lived in solidarity.
After years of wars, Eris, with the help of Min-ho finally untied both elves tribe together as one, making them a force to reckon with.
Standing in front of him were the two products of Eris new husband, she remarried the strongest dark elf after betraying him to give birth to the light and dark elves twins.
"You like staring, don't you?" Seo-yeon asked.
Min-ho turned to him, nodded and looked away.
Avoiding me the whole trip and talking to me now after you caught me staring at beauties, what a nerve you have! Min-ho thought to himself.
He followed the servants as they directed them to a large hall.
Sitting there were other participants who had arrived long before.
They found a space allocated for them as they sat there waiting for further instructions.
Soon enough, a loud bang was heard in the podium stand as an old man appeared in front of everyone, smiling as he had caught them unaware and been able to draw a reaction from them.
"Well hello little ones" He said, still smiling.
"Little ones?" A voice sounded from the last row.
Min-ho smiled; he was already getting bored out of his mind.
The one who spoke up was one of the twin elves, the light skinned one, who walked to the front podium to meet with the old man.
"And you are?" The old man asked, still smiling.
"I am Duri chaos" She replied grinning.
"Well go back to your sit miss chaos" He replied as his smile slowly faded away from his face.
"And if I refuse?" She asked, walking even close.
The pressure was immense, the air felt heavy and tense.
Everybody felt it but Duri; she was the one who got the worst of it all as she felt on one knee coughing a mouthful of blood.
>>>>Sensing dangerous waves of divine energy<<<<

>>>>70%>>>>
>>>>Failed>>>>
>>>>60%>>>>
>>>>Failed>>>>
>>>>50%>>>>
>>>>successful>>>>
The system rang out in Min-ho eyes.
He felt a large wave of pure energy hit him.
He could felt his chest tighten from the pressure as blood dripped out of his nose.
If this was 50% of the energy, what will a 100% feel like? He thought to himself as his mind suddenly went to Seo-yeon.
He turned towards her as he grabbed her, pulling her close.
She had already fainted just like every other freshman in the hall just leaving him and the old man.
"Oh you are awake? That is a first" He said as he suddenly appeared in front of Min-ho smiling.
"What the…." Min-ho said before he could complete his sentence, he felt his consciousness slip away into darkness.
He jerked back to life as he opened his eyes, sitting beside his bed was Seo-yeon who was asleep.
On the other side was a nurse who was checking his vitals.
"Oh, welcome back" She said as she helped him sit up.
"What happened?" Min-ho asked, hoping to catch up on what he missed.
"Well you been in a coma for 2 days now"
"Guess the new principal overdid it on his first day" "You should be grateful, she hasn't left your side since you fainted" She added as she packed her equipment heading towards the door.
He turned to Seo-yeon placing his hand on her shoulder as she woke up slowly.
Seeing him awake, she jumps on his lap, kissing him and crying.
He hugs her back, letting her cry her heart out.
"You are so stupid, why did you ignore me?" She asked with tears still in her eyes.
"It okay, am here now!" Min-ho replied, consoling her.
After calming her down for about three minutes, he could finally have her to calm down.
He was currently standing looking out the window as Seo-yeon was asleep on his bed.
"Guess you are ready to leave" The nurse asked.
She was the one in his room the previous day.
"Yeah I am, hopefully I don't come back here" He said with all seriousness.
"Well let's not hope too much, but it will be nice if you didn't" She added as she picked up the form he was filling and signed.
He grabbed his jacket as he walked out the door, with Seo-yeon following him.
"I wanted to wait for you to fully recover but it kind of urgent" She said as she grabbed his hand, directing him to a pass way.
He let her drag him down the hall.
At the ending of the hall lead to a square, it had four connecting roads which one was where they just came from.
In the middle of the square was a large marble stone.
On the stone was a list of names which glowed as the names moved up and down.
On the top of the list was a name that wasn't moving, it was his.
Boldly written was Min-ho Kurogane.
"Eh?!" Min-ho said in surprise
He stared at it for a few minutes in surprise before turning to Seo-yeon.
"What is that?" He asked
"Rankings for students" She replied.
"Why is my name there?" He asked, pointing to his name up on the list.
"Well, currently you are the strongest in the school?"
"How?"
"After the opening day incident, you kind of took the top" she replied, smiling with a hint of pride in her face.
"Well we will have to do something about that" Min-ho said,
"Oh right; the ranking competition will be starting soon?" Seo-yeon said as she drew closer to him.
"How soon?"
"Like how soon?"
"Tomorrow"
Min-ho smiled in pain as he walked away.
Seo-yeon skipped behind him as she held his hand
"Let me show you to your dorm" she whispered in his ear.
She took him down the hallway again.
After walking a couple of meters, they arrived at a large dorm hall. It was at the edge of the school.
Min-ho looked as other students walked up and down the building performing different activities.
"Well it going to be a busy week" Min-ho commented.
