Chereads / Poisonous Master / Chapter 7 - (7)

Chapter 7 - (7)

Inside an underground meeting room.

Cland head, Muski Shiva. "Now that every elder was present in this room, I shall ask what should be done to the golden-eyed kid."

There are currently 7 people inside, The clan head, Muski Shiva. The six elders, are Basil, Sylvan, Earl, Fergus, Vernon, and Waldo Shiva.

Silent remains as the humming sound of their thought was leaking. They worry about how to protect the child, thinking ways of how they will protect him without letting others know that he has golden eyes. They think of what measure will need to be applied so that it can't affect the growth of the child cultivation. They know the outcome that will befall if other clans get the news that something dangerous is hiding on the Snow-Purple Snake Caln.

Clan head, Muski Shiva. Sighed "Don't dwell on your thoughts and speak up, this is the reason why we gathered here so that we could talk about what measure we could do for that child's future, for this clan's future."

The elders look at one another, and with a nod, they finally speak up.

Earl Shiva, "We all know that that child is in great danger. Just having those golden eyes he had already brought danger not only to himself, so what do the other elders think of how we should solve this problem?"

Vernon Shiva, " The problem doesn't lie from the child alone, he was just the victim of power. The most effective way for him to not be spotted by the other clan was to hide him and teach him till he could protect himself."

Sylvan Shiva, "Are you saying we should refrain the child from his freedom?"

Vernon Shiva, "I'm saying it because I was concerned and was the most effective way for his situation."

Sylvan Shiva, "Concerned my ass, just tell us that you are jealous of that child's power and that you wanted your son to take first place in this batch."

Vernon Shiva, "Are you perhaps indicating that I am selfish?"

Sylvan Shiva, "I'm just stating the fact, come on we all know your motives, right?"

The other elders remain silent as they don't want to be pulled by the never-ending rivalry of the two.

Fergus Shiva, 'sight, they are here again, always fighting.'

Earl Shiva, 'Wasn't this room created for the sole purpose of meeting?'

Basil Shiva, 'Why am I even here? I wanna go home and cuddle with my lovely daughter. For sure she would say papa-papa with those tiny hands she had, Umm.'

Vernon Shiva, "Think everything you want, it won't change the fact that I cared about that child's life."

Sylvan Shiva, "Hmp, boring!"

Clan head, Muski Shiva. "Now now, shall we continue what we needed to discuss? Anyone approving the suggested solution of Vernon for that child?"

Waldo Shiva, "If the clan head was planning to do as Vernon said, how about you add that he will at least attend the class once per week or martial session one or two times a week?"

Clan head, Muski Shiva. "That is a good idea, from that we could minimize the appearance of that child outside our protection. But it could still be dangerous knowing we don't know what the other clan would do."

Fergus Shiva, "How about you use some kind of silk to cover that child's eyes?"

Basil Shiva, "That is a great idea."

Then suddenly everyone looks in Basil's direction.

Basil Shiva, "Why are you all looking at me like that?"

Sylvan Shiva, "You think we don't know what you are just lazy from this meeting and that you wanted to go home quickly to see your lovely daughter, hah?"

Basil Shiva, "At least my daughter is love not someone like you?"

Sylvia Shiva, "tsk,"

Sylvia could only refrain from his anger and thought, 'Why did my child grow and look become like mine, not like her beautiful mother?'

Clan head, Muski Shiva. "Ok, let's wrap everything around from those Suggestions, let do what everyone concluded."

"Yes!"

After the clan head and the six elders left the towering cave, the awakening ceremony continued from the lead of the one who organised our evaluation. With that, many more talents appear having the talent of first land and second class. That is how the awakening ceremony concluded.

'Please be absorbed quickly, so that they can't take you away from me.'

Now, here I am inside my room, medicating and refining the gift my grandparents gifted me. The defect sprite that they happened to get from their rock gambling habits.

Many sprites take the form of insects and some successfully take the form of an object creating more options for cultivation to wisely pick their sprite.

The level of sprite goes from lowest to highest, barely 1 to 9 stars. And three phrases per level, from the early, middle, and highest stages. The same with the cultivation level practices of both the master the its sprites.

As there are lots of choices to pick, so why did I even bother to choose the given gift from my adopted parents when I knew that this sprite was a defective one?

Originally, the Snow-Purple Snake Clan were born poisonous inside out, but because they can't access control over their poison, they find ways how they could make use of their trait. That is when one of the students happens to witness a type of sprite that glitters in front of the moonlight. Then he decided to take it back to his sect. The studies show that the butterfly unique to itself could use the poison inside the veins of its contracted master and use it to create a mist or even fire a powerful slash using its wings.

From then on, the man who took the butterfly back to his sect was held high for contributing to the sect. He was given richness and was even personally trained by elders. The butterfly soon was categorised as one of the poison sprites and on that same day, the hunt for a certain butterfly began to swirl around Snow-Purple Snake Village.

But that wasn't the reason for my choice to pick an even defective sprite. Let's just say that this sprite was the reason for the old penny to rise in strength, and he called it the Veil of Poisonous Sprite.

Veil of Poisonous Sprite, once contracted, can't only manipulate the poison inside its master's body but also could eat other types of poisons. With the continuous process of feeding it with poison, it will acquire the ability to create poison techniques by drawing upon its innate magical energy. It could be a protective veil or poison projectile. It could even grant its master a certain type of poison that infuses on its physical attack, and so on. Those techniques can cause paralysīs, sleep, hallucinations, or depending on the sprite or master's preference and cultivation level.

It's been an hour refining the sprite, but with this talent of mine, it will take 3 months or so to refine one. We are given a week to take care of everything before entering the sect and most of the kids who had powerful backgrounds should also be taught how to refine their Sprite. After all, this is a world where power matters the most. If you fall behind even for a single bit, expect that you will be consumed by others.

"Now, what I need is resources to help me quicken the process of refining this Sprite. If not, I could expect the fall behind."

"Hey, you are called to the living room."
