On the match day Delhi won the match and chose Batting.

Later that night , sachin called him .he told him to meet in the coach's room.Then salman went to the room . He saw Sachin, azhar and coach Patil making strategies for the next match against west indies.
They told him that he will be number 3 batsman for that match. After that he went to his room and slept.
Next morning, he started Batting practice. He faced kumble for 20 overs and played some aggressive shots like straight six and some shorts in long off and covers.
