Chapter 51 - Chaos Bride

Third Person PoV

Itogami Island, Abandoned Zone 27.

That was what now remained of the old southwest island. It was the pinnacle of scholarly research, but due to an 'unfortunate incident', it sank.

It was also called the erased district, as it was literally wiped off the map.

A blonde man walked through it and stopped at his destination, a run-down old tavern.

The man, even though it seemed like he didn't belong in such a place, had no problems coming here.

His strength allowed him to move as he pleased. He entered the tavern and came face to face with a race he hadn't seen much of.

Gigas, the descendants of the legendary Giants. Their numbers were incredibly low. Hence they were rarely seen.

They were a group who liked to stay by themselves, despising any other races. In the erased district, the demon registration bands didn't work, due to the island's peculiarity.

Hence even if the demons here fought and killed, the island management would know nothing.

The blonde man knew that, but even then he showed no fear, standing in a tavern surrounded by two Gigas.

"Listen, I am here to look for a female vampire here. Nothing else, even then you would raise your sword towards me?"

The man said, looking at the broadsword in the giant's hand. It was like a knife to a giant, but a huge sword to a human.

Giants were the self-declared demigods, aka the sons of gods. Naturally, they boasted the power to make such a claim.

Due to their bodies being able to survive in the harshest climate of the world, they were able to use elemental magic and elemental spirits with ease.

The blade was one of the artifacts, used to manipulate gravity. The man felt his surroundings get heavier.

As if gravity was bending the air around him. But all of a sudden the two giants were thrown back, throw the tavern.

The man hadn't even summoned his beast vassal. It was just his magical power which when let loose slightly had such an effect.

Seeing his power and red eyes, the giant said in fear.

"You are Dimitrie Vatler?!"

And promptly lost his consciousness. Vatler then got the information from the barkeeper who was scared.

And reached the place where the female vampire was standing. Seeing an unknown vampire stay at this place rubbed Vatler the wrong way.

This was akin to a holy place to him, half a year ago, on this island, the Blazing Banquet had commenced.

It was also the graveyard of so many of his precious girls. The beast vassals of the 4th Primogenitor, Avrora Florestina.

"Who are you?"

Vatler asked, conceit in his voice. But his mind was thinking differently. Anyone who could sneak into a demon sanctuary and knew about the other hand of the old southwest island sunk in the sea was not an ordinary vampire.

"So you have come, Dimitrie Vatler. Well, pay me no mind, I am in a good mood right now, so as a gracious gift I shall spare your life, leave, Master of Serpents."

The petite girl said, her tone of voice nonchalant as if she hadn't threatened a vampire of the highest class but a child.

But hearing that a joyful look came over on Vatler, and he summoned.

"Nanda, Bastunanda!"

Two snakes appeared and fused creating a third and huge familiar. The girl turned around lazily.

"So you wish for your demise. Then, I shall grant it."

The huge serpentine beast crashed towards the small girl, but instead of her becoming a snack, the beast was repelled.

That too by a single slap, the fused familiar was sent back to its natural residence in a single attack.

In the short instance, the energy radiated by the petite girl destroyed the fusion beast vassal.

Vatler stumbled back, it had been quite a while since someone had managed to make him feel insignificant.

"That power, who are you?"

Vatler asked, cleaning the blood on his chin which had dripped from his mouth. The backlash of his fusion being destroyed was strong.

"Why so surprised? I am the world's mightiest vampire."

The girl said in confidence and her face was revealed. Vatler's mind shook and he made a quick decision.

Golden hair which shone rainbow in the sunlight and flaming eyes, this was undoubtedly the appearance of the former 4th Primogenitor, Avrora Florestina.

He summoned three beast vassals and fused them, creating a four-legged golden dragon.

The magical energy radiated by him was on another level, unless you were a Primogenitor, it would be impossible to defend against such an attack.

The vegetation, the infrastructure, and the very surroundings were reduced to nothing by the deadly miasma released by the dragon and it rushed at the imposter.

Vatler's reasoning was simple: if the one in front of him was the real Avrora Florestina, she would survive, if not, then the imposter would perish.

But Vatler's attack never reached the girl, in an instant she had summoned her own familiar, for the first time in this battle.

The battle ended in a moment, and the very space around Vatler became the girl's familiar. He was trapped in an unending darkness which obscured his vision and other senses.

"You?! You are not Avrora, so that was your objective, to cut off Kojou from getting my help?"

Vatler said in shock as he figured out the identity of the girl by her familiar.

"I have no reason to end you, but dealing with you first was undoubtedly a great choice. I shall release you after I have achieved my objectives. Stay put till then, Master of Serpents, my good old friend."

"You will pay dearly for this!"

Vatler said in anger. But the girl responded with a chuckle which became faint with time, and the Vampire Aristocrat was left alone in the darkness.

Just as Kojou had left Asagi and Himeragi, five girls came running towards them, short of breath.

"Is Akatsuki Kojou-sama here?"

The blonde one who looked the most mature asked Asagi.

"You missed him by a minute. And don't go looking for him now."

"Why?"

"Because he's fighting."

Asagi said and continued to look towards the gate of Nagisa's room.

"Who are you?" Yukina asked the girls.

"We were tasked by Vatler-sama to look after Akatsuki Kojou-sama."

"Why?"

"We don't know the reason."

Yukina was perplexed hearing that.

"Hmph, little girl surrender or fall back. Our Lord, Lord Vatler, has ordered us to keep an eye on Akatsuki Kojou."

Tobias Jagan said in an arrogant tone of voice.

"That master of yours predicted this? Truly a troublesome bastard. But it doesn't matter, child retreat. Your master isn't dead, only held back."

"You say you have captured Lord Vatler?"

Kira said in astonishment.

"What do you think I am incapable of doing?"

The little girl said in amusement. Kira and Jagan didn't say another word and used their familiars in tandem.

"Irrlicht!" A raptor appeared, scorching the ground at Jagan's order.

"Nephila Ignis!"

A spider of huge proportion appeared and rushed at the petite girl together with the raptor.

"Amusing! Camaxtli!"

Even before the familiar manifested, the magical energy radiated by the girl destroyed the familiars and threw the two vampires back.

Very quickly the entire Itogami Island was covered in a thunderstorm, and the entire island's electrical power was cut off. Due the electric field set up by her familiar.

Balls of lightning fell from the sky towards the MAR facility. Kira and Jagan were too shocked and scared to do anything.

At that moment, just before the lightning balls fried the two, a huge and majestic hexagonal shield made up of diamonds appeared.

"Finally he appeared!" Avrora exclaimed in joy. As the figure of Kojoh appeared behind the shield, standing in front of the two.

"Fall back, you aren't at her level."

Kojou said without looking at the two.

"Who do you think you are to order us? Vatler-Sama has given us an or-?!"

"Fall back."

Kojou punctuated his words this time. Before Jagan could retort, Kira closed his friend's mouth and began to retreat.

Seeing the two retreat to a safe distance. Kojou finally let his emotions run a bit.

"How the fuck are you here, no how are you even alive. Avrora Florestina!"

Kojou said in anger as he looked at the hooded face of the previous 4th Primogenitor.

Instead of answering, the girl simply laughed and pointed her hand behind Kojou, at the wall of the medical facility holding Nagisa.

"Xiuhtecuhtli!"

A torrent of magma came from the ground and rushed towards Kojou. Understanding the play of his opponent, Kojou instead of retaliating, blocked.

"Aries Prote!"

His hair changed to resemble his Familiar. Shocking the girl and stooping the torrent of magma.

"You can use the full powers of your Familiars? Even though you don't have all of them and don't even control all the ones you have?"

The girl said in shock. And Kojou became suspicious after hearing that.

'She can't be Avrora, she knows too much! If she is an imposter, then that would work on her.'

And the girl was correct. Kojou was not a true Primogenitor just yet. He didn't even have all of his beast vassals, his magical power was lower than any other Primogenitor.

Not to mention he only has control over eight of the ten beast vassals he currently has with him, unless he gains control of all twelve, defeating another Primogenitor would be next to impossible, unless they underestimate him.

Kojou quickly thought before another attack was used on him.

"Xolotl!"

A giant skeleton whose ribcage seemed like the void came to life and rushed at Kojou.

"Shit! Is it manipulating space? Gemini Tritos!"

Kojou's hair changed once again, signifying his use of a different Thirdz. The space was devoured by him before it could be used to attack him.

"Sadalmelik-Albus!"

Kojou targeted his sure kill ability. And he wasn't disappointed. The ability to revert things to their original state showed the true face of the imposter.

Emerald green hair, a white dress, and red eyes. A beauty reminiscent of a wild leopard, it was undoubtedly the 3rd Primogenitor, Chaos Bride also known as Giada Kukulcan.

"Never thought that beast vassal of yours could undo my disguise. I am impressed, 4th."

"Chaos Bride?"

"Don't call me that, my name is Giada Kukulcan."

"So Giada, why are you here?"

"Talk less, fight more, Boy!"

With astonishing speed, the dainty girl rushed at Kojou. Thanks to his heightened reflexes, Kojou was able to react.

Kojou punched, air displacing, as his fist moved, but it was caught easily by Giada. And she twisted his arm, but Kojou wasn't planning to let her do as she pleased.

He held his footing stopping the twist midway. And kicked her stomach. But Giada and long since jumped back.

"So it is true, the 4th's specialty."

"Speciality? What are you talking about?"

"Since you are young let me tell you. All the Primogenitors have an advantage over others in one specific thing. The 1st has his anti-magic, the 2nd has his familiar control, I have my fighting and weapon skills, and the 4th has his body."

"So my physical abilities and immortality are better than the other three?"

"It is said to be so."

Giada said before rushing at him once again but this time, surfing off her familiar. The torrent of magma surfaced once again.

Kojou knew he couldn't maintain his full output for long, hence he planned on ending this battle now.

"Cancer Tetartos!"

The entire MAR facility became mist. Only Kojou and Giada were still solid. Before the mist could vanish Kojou did another Thirdz.

"Leo Pemptos!"

The entire sky which was under the dominion of Giada's familiar, at once changed ownership.

Her familiar was blasted back to its realm and the entirety of energy stored above Itogami Island crashed on Giada before she could process the backlash of her familiar being destroyed.

Kojou tried to tank the torrent of magma with his body but failed to, as a result, the wall behind him broke, revealing a sight that rattled his mind.

AN:- 50th chapter, Yeah!!! An important milestone for sure. And gimme those stones.
