Layton Lewis tried to rouse Ryzel up a couple more times, but he was still deep asleep.
Seeing that he wasn't waking up, he just carried Ryzel back to his house. He went directly to his room and put Ryzel on his bed.
He removed Ryzel's shoes, socks, and jacket before covering him with a blanket.
He looked at Ryzel's sleeping face and couldn't help but stare at him.
Ryzel did become more gorgeous as he grew older.
Layton Lewis saw Ryzel for the first time when Ryzel was eight. When Ryzel approached him, all of the sounds he could hear quieted down.
All sentinels have heightened senses, which allows them to hear sounds that normal people cannot, which is useful on the battlefield but can be problematic in their daily lives.
They do learn how to block their senses for a short distance, which is beneficial for low-level sentinels. However, high-level sentinels with greater sensitivity can still hear the sounds of everything around them.
