Chapter 15 - Chapter 14: Back to Square One

Ryzel called the matching center to confirm the result.

The matching center informed him that they were also astonished by the outcome and double-checked it, but it remained the same.

Ryzel does not have a suitable match among the two hundred fifty-six (256) sentinels.

Ryzel's refusal to accept such a result would not influence the outcome.

He didn't expect that he didn't even have a suitable match with anyone out of all the high-level sentinels that participated in the matching test.

Ryzel expected to be able to select at least one of the high-level sentinels from the list, but he couldn't even choose one to be his partner.

"Ry! You're truly a legend, right?

You even broke our predecessors' records!

Now there would be a new record for the matching center!

How is it possible that you don't have a suitable match among all of our academy's high-level sentinels?

What a disaster!" Lyre said, swinging his arms around, feeling helpless.

"I also didn't expect such a result; I thought I could solve my problems already," Ryzel added, feeling very frustrated.

He assumed he could already solve the source of his issues, but it appears that luck was not on his side.

Nobody can be faulted for such a poor match rate. It just signifies that they aren't fated to be together. Which makes Ryzel more frustrated because he can't do anything about it.

"What should we do?

I anticipate that a result will already be available, and you will only need to choose.

Now we are back to square one.

Where should we look for high-level sentinels?

The sentinels at our academy are already the best of the best in our generation.

Where else should we go to look for other high-level sentinels? " Lyre mused worriedly.

Ryzel was also pondering what Lyre said.

The high-level sentinels in their academy were the best of the best.

Capital Star Academy only accepted those with high abilities from all over the different planets. Having the ability to enter the Capital Star Academy means you are the best out of thousands of people.

People can't just enter the Capital Star Academy, even if they have money and power. All the students accepted should pass the entrance exam and the interview.

Ryzel was now concerned about where to look for a partner because none of the academy's high-level sentinels had even reached a thirty percent (30%) matching rate with him.

He was certain that his relatives would interfere with his subsequent actions. They were caught off guard by the previous matching test, so they did nothing, but now that he has yet to find a partner, they will undoubtedly hinder him.

"Yes, where exactly should I look for a sentinel?"

"Hey, Ry, should I ask my brother to ask his colleagues for a match test? " Lyre asked with a hesitant voice.

"Yes, you can ask your brother if someone is available for a matching test."

"Are you sure Dwight is also there?" Lyre asked again.

Ryzel knew that Lyre was worried about him being in a more awkward situation because Dwight was also in the same army as his brother.

"Don't worry, I'm sure some were already aware of my condition. I don't really care whether everyone knows about it.

Dwight being there doesn't mean anything," Ryzel replied nonchalantly.

Ryzel does not care if everyone is aware of his situation. Anyway, he hadn't done anything wrong; he was only looking for a partner.

The fact that Dwight is in the same army where he was looking for a companion makes no difference to him.

In the first place, if it weren't for Dwight, he wouldn't be dealing with this type of problem.

The more people knew that he was looking for a partner and conducting a matching test, the better.

If a large number of people were watching, his relatives would not dare to publicly meddle with his matching rate.

"Okay, then I will send a message to inform my brother about it," Lyre replied.

"Thanks, Lyre"

"No worries.

Anyway, I'm sure that the results of your matching tests with the high-level sentinels will be revealed in our academy in just a few minutes.

What are you going to do? "

Ryzel knew that having a matching test with all the high-level sentinels except with those who already have a partner became gossip in the academy.

The other students are surely anticipating the results of the matching test. The results from each sentinel who participated in the matching test are surely being tallied by someone.

"Nothing; just leave it be. They would know it later, so it doesn't make a difference even if they knew it earlier."

"Knowing that you even beat the record of not finding a suitable match even with two hundred fifty-six (256) sentinels would surely cause a stir."

"I know; that's why I can't really do anything about it."

Ryzel knew that the results of the matching test would surprise everyone, and they would surely talk more about it.

"Your affairs are bringing you more attention.

You're already well-known due to your appearance and talent.

You're about to become more renowned as a result of breaking a record.

I am sure that many people who aspired to be popular despise you," Lyre teased.

"I'm not even trying to be popular."

"That is the problem.

You're not trying to be popular, yet you became popular without much effort, unlike other individuals who worked hard to be popular.

I'm sure that's one of the reasons why that b*tch Sean hates you."

"Heh, I know he has hated me very much since we were kids. Adding one more reason to hate me doesn't matter," Ryzel sneered.

Ryzel does not care about Sean, despite the fact that he has set numerous traps for him since they were children. But now he would undoubtedly repay Sean for what he had done to him.

"Enough talking about other topics. We should start preparing to go to the academy," Ryzel said, interrupting Lyre, who wanted to continue talking.
