Crack!
Dash had struck the ribs where he had previously hit three times in a row, but at the same time, Jake's kick had hit his left guard, which also ended up knocking him down.
When he got up, Dash looked at Jake on the ground and slowly lowered his guard.
Mr. Han quickly ran towards Dash and cleaned the blood off him while the doctor approached to help with the wound.
This bloody fight made the audience erupt; they hadn't seen so much blood in a single fight in this category, so this first occasion generated a lot of adrenaline in the entire audience.
Devon approached Dash and said, "They really got you this time; how the hell did you let yourself get hit like that?"
"You might not notice, but that guy is really strong. Look at my arms; the bruises are from all the direct hits I stopped with my guard up." Dash could only defeat Jake due to very specific blows that caused a lot of damage in a unique area.
Devon shook her head, feeling that Dash had somehow been affected by the previous kick to his head; that dizziness might have prevented him from performing better in the fight as he would have wanted.
"Will you take over?"
"I'll kick his ass." Devon was furious at how they had left Dash; now she would leave Alice worse off.
Mr. Han, who was looking at Dash, shook his head and said, "You won't be able to keep fighting with these wounds; the swelling is increasing, and I'm afraid you'll temporarily lose vision in both eyes."
"Competitors to the front."
Devon looked at Dash and said, "I'll be back in a moment."
"Do your best, and remember, show no mercy." Dash smiled as he waved his hand. Although he responded humbly, the pride and admiration in his eyes were impossible to hide.
Devon kept her eyes closed, thinking about what this victory meant for her and her comrades, so she couldn't lose.
"Your victory is my victory!" Devon murmured repeatedly as she walked towards the combat arena, ready to give her best.
Jake looked at Devon from afar and said, "Alice, we're proud that you made it to the final. No matter what happens, remember that your victory means whether we advance or stay here."
"I'll end that bitch!" Alice nodded as she stepped into the arena and looked at Devon defiantly.
"You know how this goes—three points for the winner, ready? Stand, salute, and fight!"
Devon raised her guard and said, "Remember, you don't have a novice fighting in front of you."
Alice looked at Devon and said, "Don't worry, it's not a problem to defeat you."
"Then don't disappoint me!" Devon exerted force on her limbs as each of her movements synchronized with her mind.
Alice didn't want to wait, so she started directly with the attack. Every step she took brought her closer to her rival, but Devon showed no signs of moving at any moment. Seeing this scene, many in the audience became increasingly nervous; it seemed like the difference in strength was against Devon.
"What is she doing?" Cheng couldn't understand what Devon was doing by not making any moves.
Beside her students, Dre furrowed his brow, observing what Miss Lee was trying to do.
Boom!
Just as Alice's blow was about to make contact with Devon's chest, she finally made her move. She extended her right palm and delivered a strong blow to the bottom of her opponent's attack, much faster than she was.
To everyone's surprise, that collision of blows didn't end with Alice's point, who had more strength. Instead, as if the blows didn't affect her, Devon's body didn't recoil at all. It was as if Alice didn't have the strength to make her budge at all.
"How can this be possible?"
This unimaginable scene left the audience stunned. How could it be that someone like Alice's strength couldn't move Devon even an inch, who was obviously thinner and had less muscle?
Even Alice's demeanor suddenly changed, and all that confidence vanished from her face. From what she could feel, Devon's palm hit much faster than her punch, and she could feel that her blow didn't hit her opponent one hundred percent.
And in this case, she finally started feeling anxious.
Devon looked at Alice, who had a totally different expression than before, making it clear that she hadn't become champion with just a year of slow training but that she had been entering since Dash had proposed it to her.
"There's a difference between strength and skill!"
"Now!" Alice didn't want to hear any more words from Devon, who seemed to be teaching her things she didn't need.
At that moment, she attacked again, but this was seen by Devon, and she knew what to do. She moved her hands, raising her defense, and from a difficult angle, Devon hit Alice with her elbow from a place where she couldn't defend herself, causing her to stagger and show pain.
"Point!"
"That's our champion!" Dre shouted among the crowd, wanting to hit the guys who hadn't believed in Devon from the beginning.
"Come on, Alice, you can do it!"
The referee looked at both competitors and asked, "Ready? Fight!"
"Now!" Alice didn't want to give up without giving Devon a worthy fight, so she exploded in strength and fury at the same time.
With a face wanting to win it all, Devon raised her hands again and looked at her rival without any feelings. Stronger and more lethal, this time she had to use all her strength in the attacks to avoid being hurt and win the fight faster.
Being in range with Alice, Devon struck quickly.
Her fist hit Alice's shoulder forcefully, causing the audience to be very excited about the dominance Devon was showing.
Boom!
And before the referee could signal a point, Devon turned around, and a high kick landed in Alice's stomach while she was in the air.
"Ooooh!"
The audience reacted to that blow, and everyone felt a little sorry for Aisha, who hadn't been able to do anything so far against Devon's blows.
