Chapter 252 - Danny the Dog

"They are more students than I expected; I even see new faces that weren't here before," Terry said as he entered, looking at Robby, who was sitting on the right side of Miguel, who had a serious expression on his face. Everyone was tense due to Terry's presence, especially the boy behind him, who, in a way, was the person they had to defeat.

Johnny took a step forward, extending his hand to greet Terry. After receiving help from Daniel's lawyers, he understood that the situation he was in was not good at all. Fearing that they might lose the name of Cobra Kai and all the reputation they had gained so far, he knew how important and dangerous it was to lose this place.

That's why Robby had come to the dojo. Daniel thought that if they had maximum help to defend this place, it would be good for Robby to be here. Everyone thought about talking to Dash, but since he was recovering from his recent injuries, they didn't believe it would be convenient.

"Welcome to Cobra Kai; this is where the Dojo has been reborn and where we have trained these young ones," Johnny said, looking directly into Terry's eyes.

Terry nodded, looked at the students, and said, "Hello, everyone. I'm Sensei Terry Silver, and I understand that all of you consider me the enemy. I offered Sensei Johnny to work together, but he refused because of recent issues with Sensei Kreese, and I understand. But wanting to work on the growth of Cobra Kai, I made a bet."

Pausing, Terry smiled slightly and said, "The bet is simple: my son, Danny, will challenge the current Cobra Kai Dojo. Three fights will be more than enough to know if you can defeat him or not. Of course, you can challenge him as many times as you want, but the result will be the same if the best ones lose."

"I am not the enemy; your Sensei refused to collaborate with me, so we will all accept the result of this bet."

"Enough of so much talking; Hawk, you'll be the first to fight," Johnny said, looking coldly at Terry Silver, who was portraying himself as the villain of this story.

"Can I start?" Danny asked, looking at Terry, who was standing beside him.

"You need to change first into a suitable outfit for the fight. Remember that we will use tournament rules within the limits of causing damage, but the fight will end when one is incapacitated," Terry said, handing him a backpack with a purple Cobra Kai uniform.

"The fights will end when one surrenders, is incapacitated, or exposes themselves to continuous blows that could have resulted in injuries."

"You heard it; you'll have to restrain yourselves, but not too much. As long as one of you takes down Terry's son, the fights will end," Johnny said, looking at his students, totally confident that they would win.

Miguel listened and couldn't help but glance at the boy named Danny, who seemed to be a year older than them. But no matter how he looked at him at the moment, he seemed like a normal person, yet deep down, he was like a beast.

Danny was of short stature, had Asian features, and initially seemed very shy due to the way he spoke. Johnny also noticed something strange about Danny; he knew he wouldn't be weak, but for some reason, he felt that the chances of greatness were small.

Fortunately, his dojo had good students. So, if they couldn't win with a series of fights, they could try to tire Danny out and leave the easy work to Miguel or one of the stronger ones who hadn't fought yet.

They might think this is a dishonorable method, but knowing that Terry could be even more dangerous than Kreese, he left him no choice. Regardless of what happened, Johnny would not let someone come and take Cobra Kai away from him in this way.

At that moment, Danny came out of the bathroom and was wearing a purple Cobra Kai uniform with the logo on his back and chest. When everyone saw him, they felt a slight ominous feeling, but their confidence was higher in Hawk, so they ignored what they felt.

"Just have fun, Danny; remember, they are not the enemy," Terry said as he stepped aside.

Danny nodded, looked at Hawk, who was watching him with an intimidating expression, and just smiled slightly. "It's been a while since I fought; sorry if I break any bones."

"Same here!" Hawk responded angrily.

Johnny, who would be the referee, said, "Normal rules: the one who loses completely or surrenders wins. Ready? Fight!"
