Chapter 233 - Rest Time

"Well done, Kim!" "That was amazing!"

Sam heard the cheers from the crowd and felt the same as the last time she lost against Devon.

The reason she never returned to karate was that she didn't feel skilled enough to defeat Devon.

If that had been the only reason, she would have come back earlier, but she also made new friends, and her interest in karate diminished. At this moment, just after losing the match, she felt like the world was crashing down on her.

"Come on, get up."

At that moment, Sam opened her eyes and saw her friend Aisha, who had stopped talking to her a long time ago but was now here, extending her hand.

Accepting her help, Sam got up with Aisha's assistance and asked, "How bad was it?"

Aisha thought and said, "You could have won if you weren't injured in the leg."

...

"It's all in our hands," Devon said, watching as Sam was taken to the infirmary, and his eyes focused on the replays of the fight being shown on a huge screen.

Antoni, who was by his side, said, "You have to win with the most points because I'm not sure I can beat Jack."

"Dash is here!"

Many of the fighters hurried to glance at Dash, who had descended to their position. They all felt a bit embarrassed about losing, but still, they had hopes with the duo of Devon.

Finally, Devon looked at Dash and asked, "How do you see the results?"

"They can lose, but if they take advantage of the fact that they are more tired than you, then you can easily beat them," Dash said as he approached Devon.

According to his observations, Dash knew that Jack had the most physical endurance, and Kim seemed to be at lower levels in terms of stamina. If they take advantage of the fact that they are more tired, maybe they can achieve something in the fight.

"Jack has more endurance, so you'll have to finish off Kim without showing mercy. Only then should we have a chance to win this competition," Dash said, giving his small observations to Devon.

People listening to Dash's words fell silent.

"Antoni will lose the fight, so everything will be in your hands. You have to win with a total of three points against zero to have some chances." Dash had assumed that Antoni would lose, so he told Devon that everything was in his hands.

Antoni stayed silent on the side. If Dash said this, there was a reason, so he didn't comment and instead mentally prepared for this fight.

"It would be better if Antoni fought first to know what we would need to win." Devon contemplated the possibilities in silence.

Being aware of what is needed to win would give them certainty about whether they still have a chance or not. But having hope for a final result means they will be hopeful throughout.

Dash didn't need to tell her anything about tips to beat Kim because she was talented enough to be aware of what was needed. Many wondered if it was necessary to be so technical to win, but they were too inexperienced to comment on it.

"We have reached the final; all competitors have given their best, and now we have a final between both schools where each will do their best to win," said the presenter, giving some words to the audience while giving time to Jack's duo to rest.

Dash wouldn't return to the audience; he approached Devon and said, "Remember that the result is not only in your actions. Do your best, but don't overstrain yourself."

"Yes." Devon nodded, understanding Dash's words.

After waiting for a few more minutes, Devon and Kim were called to the arena to fight. Being the first to fight, Devon took a deep breath and sighed deeply.

The referee looked at the competitors and nodded, extending his hands straight up and saying, "Look at me, Bow."

"Look at each other, Bow!"

Devon and Kim greeted each other, and then the referee started the match.

"Fight!"
