Chapter 210 - The Location

"I'm here. Show yourselves!" Dash shouted with a cold voice; anger was visible in his gaze, and for the first time in his life, he was willing to kill if the situation demanded it. In the dark building, Dash could barely see what was happening inside because the moonlight poorly illuminated the surroundings, making it almost impossible to know what was going on.

The moment he announced his presence, a figure emerged from the darkness with a wicked smile. "It seems you love your girlfriend more than usual. We couldn't have fun with her because you arrived too early."

"Tell me what you want to let her go. I can promise anything within my abilities," Dash said, clenching his fists.

"Don't be so pessimistic. Don't you want to chat with us? We've been paid well to take care of things around you. Aren't you interested in knowing who paid us?" asked the man with tattoos on his face. Dash could see him perfectly because the man held a lamp that faintly illuminated his face.

Dash didn't flinch at all and said, "I just need you to let Devon go from this place. I don't want anything else." In a situation like this, Dash needed to know how many people were in this place. However, no matter how much he looked around, he couldn't perceive anything other than darkness, which made him really nervous.

"If it was about money, I can give you double what they paid you. Doesn't that sound good?" Dash asked, genuinely interested in their response.

"You're so boring. Shouldn't you have started with that in the first place? Anyway, as you proposed, my answer to that would be a resounding no. In the streets, there's brotherhood, and that has codes that can't be broken under any circumstances." The man's voice became colder as he spoke.

Looking at Dash fixedly, the tattooed man said, "Do you remember one day you fought with some guys who were stealing simple wallets?"

"What have you said?" At that moment, Dash couldn't think of anything other than Devon, so he was very confused when he heard these words from the man.

The man smiled slightly and said, "One of those guys you hit went under pressure. Since he was older, he went straight to a very nasty prison, where he ended up stabbed several times in the ribs and died."

"Should that be my problem?" Dash vaguely remembered how he had fought with several guys when he saved Robby, but he was wearing a mask, so he didn't understand how these people knew about him.

"His name was Paco; he died very young. Anyway, you can call me Paco while I crush your head with this wooden bat," said Paco as he moved a wooden bat from side to side in his hand.

Dash put metal gloves on his hands, looked around, still very alert, and asked again, "Where is Devon? If you tell me, I won't break all the teeth in your horrible and stinking mouth."

"This bastard isn't listening," Paco said with a wide smile.

At that moment, Dash received a phone call that he answered immediately. "Who's speaking?"

"Dash, where are you?" A feminine voice came from the intercom, and Dash instantly identified it as Devon.

"Devon..."

"Dash, I lost my phone and forgot to mention it. Where are you right now?" Devon asked with a tone full of concern; she was worried that Dash was looking for her.

With a sigh of relief, Dash showed more confidence in this situation and said, "I'm fine; some very clever guys tricked me."

Paco, who knew that Dash had discovered the truth, smiled slightly. "Well, it seems the fun is over. Now ours begins."

Boom!

At that moment, the lights of the building were turned on, forcing Dash to close his eyes due to the pain it caused to see the light around him now. At the same time, a figure in the dark holding a wooden stick appeared behind Dash and, with ill intentions, aimed for his head.

Crack!

"Who?" Dash quickly covered the sides of his head; he couldn't see but heard someone behind him, so this is all he could do.

Thud!

A strong blow hit the back of his head, leaving Dash very dazed. The impact was so strong that it forced him to kneel, and for a moment, he felt sleepy.

"That was a damn good hit," Paco shouted, seeing Dash on the ground.

Dash, who was dazed, felt a warm stream flowing down his head and passing through his back. With his knowledge, he didn't need to think about what it was, as he clearly felt that it was his blood.

"You will pay with blood for what happened to our brother."

Thud! Thud! Thud!

At the same time, several men started kicking Dash all over his body. Those kicks were strong, ultimately forcing him to endure the blows.

"I'm going to kill them..." Dash muttered, trying to regain focus on his vision. However, it was simply impossible. Dash had to stay focused and, most importantly, awake. During his training with Devon, he learned to take hits, knowing the places he had to protect and the ones that could withstand the blows. This was the only way not to be knocked out in this place, so it was precisely what he did.
