Chapter 193 - The Group is a Disaster

"You heard it, guys; let's crush them!" Hawk was ecstatic as he exaggerated his actions just to annoy his friend.

Demetri, who shared his comics with Eli, looked at him strangely and muttered, "I don't think Professor Daisy is referring to exact physical contact between two people."

"You don't have the right to comment."

"Yeah, right. Who the hell do you think you are to tell me I can't comment?"

"If you're going to kiss, it's better if you do it somewhere else; you're making people uncomfortable." These two put Dash in a situation where he had to intervene, so looking sternly at these two friends, who didn't exactly know how to approach this, they stopped bickering.

It was already expressed enough because he would participate in a debate and worry all the time about two of his friends getting into a fight. Now he gave Devon the right, and he understood that she was right to mention that it was a bad idea for these two to accompany them.

"I apologize, but I only acted like my peers in a clearly unnecessary situation." Demetri apologized in a very severe manner.

Hawk, on the other hand, didn't say anything, looked away, and focused his attention on the landscape, which somehow attracted him more than fighting all the time.

"Look on the bright side; by the end of the day, they'll clear up their differences and become friends again."

"Please, just shut up." Dash looked at Miguel and, after careful consideration, told him, "You should help me; they're not only my friends but yours too."

Miguel looked at Dash and, with a weary expression, said, "Believe me, I'm doing everything I can to get them back on good terms."

Devon walked past Miguel and said, "Well, you're not trying hard enough."

"Does she hate me? I really feel like she hates me; what's happening?" Miguel was confused.

"No, believe me, she doesn't. She's friends with Tory, and apparently, there are women's conversations that involve you, so if I were you, I'd be careful not to make a mistake." Dash said, patting Miguel on the shoulder.

Entering the school, they were all led to a special office where they were given provisional credentials, and they all entered the preparation room where they would be working on their plans.

"Alright, guys, listen to me for a minute. I don't want you to wander too far because you could get lost, and it would be a lot of trouble to regroup." Daisy looked at the kids and spoke aloud, grabbing their attention.

"I have photographic memory; I just memorized this place, and I can confidently say I know exactly where they sell sugar, that white powder."

Everyone turned to see a short boy say these words, and when he realized everyone was looking at him, he asked a little confusedly, "Did I think it or say it?"

"For the love of God..." Dash murmured as he slumped into a chair.

"Did you guys see the Earth Pianists Club?"

Demetri looked at the boy who mentioned this and said, "That should be illegal."

"For the first time, I agree with something you say." Hawk said these words, feeling a little uncomfortable.

"We should look for an online map of this school; it would be very helpful to have one."

Dash, who was listening to all the conversations in this group of perhaps very special-minded kids, looked at Hawk and thought that maybe it wasn't as bad as he thought.

Devon walked towards his side, and after sitting down, she murmured, "I think this group is a disaster."

"They say geniuses weren't elegant men but crazy people living under a bridge."

"That's a myth..." The boy sitting in front of Dash turned around and intervened in their conversation, but after seeing Dash's piercing look, he turned back around.

Dash finally asked out of curiosity, "Do you know how good the guys we're facing are?"

"They haven't handed out the list yet, but at these education levels, I've never faced a debate." Devon, who had more experience in school competitions, said.

Upon hearing these words, Dash nodded and didn't ask anything else; he looked at the sheets with the topics they would discuss and began to read them just to occupy his mind.
