Chapter 159 - Sakura Bushido's Karate Master

After intervening in that fight, Mr. LaRusso returned to his Dojo, which was the house of Mr. Miyagi, who had trained him in his youth.

He began to meditate in a ceremonial room. It had been a long time since he was involved in a fight, and that entirely foreign sensation to his body had disturbed his mind. It's not that Daniel was a person of peace, but since the resurgence of Cobra Kai, his life had accelerated much faster than he could control.

"Huff..."

Meditating in the middle of the ceremonial room with soft and deep steps, Daniel seemed to regain the tranquility that weighed on him, quickly controlling his emotional state.

At that moment, Robby entered silently, something that Daniel noticed. So, after opening his eyes, he asked, "How's your head?"

"It still hurts a bit..." Robby smiled at how foolish he had been and said, "I was stupid to put myself in that situation."

Daniel looked at his young student and said, "You did what you thought was right..."

"But something good came out of all this..." Saying this, Robby took out his cell phone, and the recorded video began to play. "A Karateka with a chicken mask and the former All Valley champion defeating three criminals using Miyagi-Do Karate. This could go viral, and by then, we could have the Dojo filled at noon."

Daniel looked at the phone for a few seconds, and after hesitating a bit, he shook his head. "It's not necessary. Miyagi-Do is to protect others and learn to defend yourself. I'm not seeking fame."

"Mr. Miyagi didn't recruit me; he wasn't looking for students. He took me in because I needed it. I approached him, not him to me. We must be patient; whoever needs us will find us sooner or later."

Daniel didn't seek to have more students than Johnny; he wanted his students to be better and truly understand the true karate his Sensei had taught him. It would be of no use if he did this out of ambition; he didn't really seek that.

But at that moment, a strange voice was heard at the entrance. "Excuse me..."

Demetri, who had finally found the Dojo, pointed back and said, "It wasn't clear if the entrance was at the front or if I should ring the bell... Oh God, you also have a Koi pond, but yours looks more traditional. How much does it cost you to maintain it?"

"Can I help you?" Daniel looked at Demetri with confusion as he entered as if it were his own home, leaving him very stunned.

Demetri, realizing his lack of respect, became serious, looked at Daniel, and said, "Yes, I want to learn the Karate of this place."

"You've come to the right place..." Daniel said, smiling a bit, knowing that he could finally have a new disciple in addition to his daughter and Robby, who had been following him for some time.

Demetri smiled faintly and said, "Although I heard that they teach the same Karate as Sakura Bushido, the classes, because they're free, are better... You know? Classes at Sakura Bushido are extremely expensive, although the first-class facilities are worth it."

While saying this, Demetri looked around and pointed, "By the way, Sakura Bushido has top-notch training machines, private showers, rest areas, and a large perfect yard."

"Wait, wait, wait, did you say that Sakura Bushido teaches the same karate as Miyagi-Do? That must be a confusion; no one else but me knows the karate taught here." Daniel said with a nervous smile, understanding that there might be confusion in Demetri about Karate, but that would be resolved after a brief explanation.

Demetri, who had been in Sakura Bushido's free class, shook his head and said, "I'm not lying. The Sensei who spoke about Mr. Miyagi's Karate."

Samantha then remembered the words Devon had told her and murmured, "So that's what he meant..."

"Am I the only one not understanding anything?" Robby asked as confused as Daniel.

Daniel, who began to think if Mr. Miyagi would have another student, shook his head and asked, "Do you remember the name of the Sensei who teaches at Sakura Bushido?"

"Oh, I didn't think it mattered. He just arrived from Japan, and his name is Chozen Toguchi. He's an even fiercer master than those in Cobra Kai... His training is brutal, he adapted them with top-notch equipment, and I ended up in bed for a few days unable to move."

Upon hearing that name, a flood of memories from the past overwhelmed Daniel. He remembered the death match with Chozen and murmured, "That's impossible..."

"Oh, I'm not lying. I even recorded a video teaching Devon the correct use of the Katana..." Demetri took out his cell phone and showed them a video.

Daniel, who saw Chozen's face, trembled a bit, opened his eyes wide and said, "What is he doing here?"

"Do you know him, Dad?" Samantha saw her father's expression and understood that things couldn't be simple.

"More than that..."
