Chapter 95 - Hans

"Where is Hans?" Jorge screamed.

Deep in the field, close to the entrance of the forest.

"Did you see that?" Pheap laughed. "What a hit. I swear when I felt his gray matter splatter my face, it felt so amazing."

"Why did you call me out here?" Hans asked.

"I like you, you know that. Wolf's cool, but he places too much value on what he believes is right. You are truly trustworthy. Now the plan is not over. I need your help to finish it."

"What plan?"

"Not so fast. Just because I," Pheap sticks his fingers in the air making quotation marks, "trust you. Doesn't mean I trust you. You know I don't think about this often. But it's strange how right Lynx was."

"I have people to return to, my men can't survive without me. Plus what about my injuries?"

Pheap drew a bottle filled with black slime.

"You know what this is right?"

"I can guess. Is that one of the rare heavenly flasks? If so, why would you waste such an expensive item on me?"

"Did you forget something?"

"What do you mean?"

"Im a prince, third prince of Italy, the head of the grand roman states. I'm sure you can guess that father despises me. But my mother, queen of the sun tribe, respects me as her descendant. Take it, I have two others on me right now."

"One more question, why? Why any of this. Was this part of that Lynx's plan?"

"Not sure, but I would assume dying wasn't on his bucket list. I'm sorry to say, but with as Isolative as Lynx was, you know as much as me. The one person who would know is Jackal, he brought him in on all his plans, just trusted the mute that much. Speaking of which, where did that rascal go?"

Hans shrugged.

"Is this where I accept? I'm not sure what you're planning, but it looks as though I don't have much of a choice. How about this money man, I don't work for free. I even have some friends who know just how to get you what you need. My boss also controls a huge sway in the government. So being hunted down is not a problem."

"You know you're too good to me, to think all I wanted was a hand and you're pulling up ideas for me."

They both laughed.

"Come on now let me drink it."

Pheap held the bottle to Hans lips, as he slowly sipped from it, till the bottle lay empty. Hans stood there appearing unchanged. But slowly you could see his veins in his eyes tense up. His mouth grimaces.

"Is it supposed to hurt this much?"

"I've heard it hurts quite a lot." Pheap said with a smile.

Hans's nostrils flare. He takes heavy breaths. Pain flushing his face red. Somehow even through the years, decades of fighting his constant pain. He shedded a tear, one turned to two, and two turns to three. From his head horns sprout like blossoms, his teeth extend and sharpen. His skin turned a pale gray.
