Lynx didn't looked the same, he still wore his stunning white suit, his hair is still professionally styled, but something was off. Maybe it was the twitch in his leg, or the sweat that leaked down his forehead like rain. None of the beasts have ever seen any hesitation in Lynx, not even his master, but there he was questioning if he should take the next step.
"Announce yourselves."
"I'm the young Lion Vex, general and younger brother to the patriarch." There was a cunning glint in his eye. "My brother chose me to represent the Lion company, and I ask who is the true you mister Lynx."
"Me? I'm Lynx Leader, kinda of the nine beasts, if you want are history sense we've come this far maybe we should come clean." Lynx winked at Vex. "Have you ever heard of the silver demons?" Vex's face clearly showed he had. After all who hasn't they were a forbidden sect of criminals who had enough might to fight small countries, even though they were just nine. The silver demons were said to have been killed a long time ago. "We, I suppose my master Avarice was the Leader of them back then, and accepted me as his disciple to rebuild his group. We are the Silver Demons' fear are name for we have returned, and when one of the nine beasts knock on your door, be afraid." The whole room glared at them. If what they were saying was to be true then they were a huge threat. "To think I was frightened to say those words, but man it's good to get off my chest." Even though he said that, Lynx still looks more nervous than a fish on the chopping block.
Some of the stronger, more well known martial artists jumped from the stands followed by their lackeys.
The nine beast stepped up to the stage standing in front of Lynx.
"Respect the duel," yelled Fox.
"Who do you scum thick you are, the time for jokes is over." Someone screamed from the crowd.
"What did you say, you want to fight." Taunted the real Lion (AKA Pheap).
But the one to stop the others was not one of the nine but the judge who made them return to their seats.
With that the fight was ready to begin.
Magic surrounded Lynx creating his own suit of Armor. Well Vex pulled string from his pocket, he leaked magic into it forming an unmeasurably dangerous whip.
"Die!!!" Vex screamed, but the string that was moving like a bullet helplessly fell to the ground. The weight of the whole room increased segnifenty, to the point that any one below commander fell face first to the floor, any one higher managed to take a knee. All accept Vex, who stood there puzzled. "Such advanced magic manipulation? I didn't even know this was possible."
"What, did you expect the leader of the NIne Beasts to be weak?" Lynx grouted.
"You're strong but you're still nothing compared to my brother."
"Who is this brother of yours?"
"Who else but Patriarch Lazaros, of course." He said as setting aside all formalities, he began to talk like a snake.
"I've heard of him."
"That's all you have to say?"
Vex rushed forward, performing ruthless palm techniques.
"Amusing."
"Days dawn." Vex yelled, commenting on an advanced technique.
Advanced techniques are strong arts created by top teal martial masters. They are close to spells but for physical combat. Unlike spells the only requirement to use them is magic, and a good teacher. As these arts are some of the most complicated things for a human to complete, a way was discovered to simplify them. Visualization through activation of code words, these give a way easier activation of magic pathways after grinding it into the user.
His hand hit Lynx's stomach going right through his magic. You could hear the crack of thunder as Lynx slid back, blood spurting from his mouth.
