Chapter 6 - (ch 6)the first trial final part

In a sudden epiphany, a glimmer of comprehension flickered in the brother's eyes, prompting him to pivot swiftly, his sword poised with lightning-like velocity.

However, fate had already been decided.

A colossal appendage materialized from beyond the confines of the dwelling, striking at him. The obsidian exoskeleton rent through the brother's armor. In the ensuing chaos, another limb attempted to drag him away, heedless of the sword still clasped in its grasp. Emerging from the shadows, two fangs pierced the darkness.

Disregarding the impending confrontation, she disregarded the outcome and mustered her strength, fleeing the scene with her battered body, determined to escape the perilous situation as swiftly as possible.

'and off i scury away'

In the distance, the cacophony of rage and eerie screeches resembled a clash of titans, echoing through the air. It was as if both her 'brother' and the monstrous creature were engaged in an epic struggle with no intention of backing down.

Seeking refuge in an abandoned house nearby, she hoped for a moment of respite amidst the chaos. However, the tumult of battle drew nearer with each passing moment, until the roof above her shattered under the weight of their conflict. Her 'brother' and the menacing death spider emerged, locked in a deadly duel, their ferocity shaking the very foundation of the house.

In the midst of this chaos, she noticed a small, undamaged statue lying on the floor. Despite the mayhem surrounding her, she felt drawn to it, compelled to pick it up.

As she attempted to flee, the intensity of the battle intensified, causing the ground to tremble beneath her feet. The fight raged ever closer, threatening to engulf her in its fury.

'please someone help'

Just as she thought all hope was lost, out of nowhere, the enchanting voice of the Spell reverberated through the statue, sending shivers down her spine as it echoed in her ears.

[The gods are dead, and cannot hear you.]

[You're soul is one of loyalty to the shadows]

[You shall be a good friend for a shadow.]

[Shadow God stirs in his eternal slumber.]

[Shadow God stirs in his eternal slumber.]

[He sends a blessing from beyond the grave.]

[Friend of Shadows, receive your blessing!]

'Never thought the higher powers actually like me'

Rin marveled, watching in awe as shadows coalesced around the house, transforming into writhing tentacles that ensnared both her and her brother. Despite their struggles, they were immobilized.

"Why bother resisting against something like this, you idiots?" Rin exclaimed, frustration evident in her voice.

In an instant, the shadows lifted them into the air, flexing like muscles as they exerted force. A monstrous screech filled the air as the shadows tore apart the tyrant, its maw gaping open in agony, followed by Rin's brother's screams of pain.

Then, suddenly, both bodies were rent asunder, showering the ground with blood, gore, and severed limbs. With the creature defeated, Rin couldn't help but think of her brother as she closed her eyes, feeling a brief sense of relief wash over her.

Once more, she found herself alone amidst the desolate ruins of the compound. The darkness enveloped her, broken only by the occasional sound of crumbling debris.

[You have slain an awakened tyrant, black widow.]

[You have slain an ascended human. Itac&£#?! §∆÷√•.(error Name corrupted )]

[Wake up, Rin! Your nightmare is over.]

[Prepare for appraisal...]
