Chapter 45 - Taijutsu

"Ah, Nawaki," thought Chen, "it seems you need a little lesson. Maybe some 'special' training at the school will help you keep quiet."

Meanwhile, at the Senju residence, Nawaki was sitting in a lotus position, focused on refining his chakra. Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine, and an explosive sneeze broke his concentration.

"What was that?" Nawaki murmured, rubbing his nose. "I have a bad feeling... like someone is planning something terrible for me."

"Chen," Tsunade began, casting a meaningful glance at Mikoto and Kushina, "I wanted to talk to you about something you gave me..."

Mikoto, always perceptive, caught the hint instantly. "Oh, I think Kushina and I should go," she said, taking the redhead by the arm.

But Chen shook his head. "There's no need for you to leave. Whatever Tsunade wants to discuss, I'm sure there are no secrets between us."

Kushina, as curious as ever, leaned forward. "What is it about, dattebane?"

Chen turned to Tsunade with an inquisitive look. "Have the abilities I gave you caused any problems?"

Tsunade straightened her shoulders, a mix of pride and frustration on her face. "I've learned all the abilities you gave me, but..." she paused, frowning, "I'm having trouble with Kami-e and Observation Haki. Tekkai and Armament Haki I've mastered well, but those other two..."

Chen nodded, thoughtful. "To quickly master Observation Haki, you should focus on dodging objects moving at high speed using your senses. Forget about Kami-e for now."

Tsunade's eyes widened. "Dodging high-speed objects? Can you even do that?"

A smile spread across Chen's face. "Oh, Tsunade, if I wanted to, I could defeat you with a single move."

Tsunade laughed, taking the comment as a joke. "Yeah, right. Like you could beat me that easily."

Mikoto and Kushina exchanged glances, a mix of amusement and concern on their faces.

Without warning, Chen raised his index finger, pointing directly at Tsunade's cheek.

A flash of golden light shot from the tip of his finger, crossing the training field in an instant and disappearing into the distance.

Tsunade's pupils constricted sharply. A thin trickle of blood began to slide down her cheek.

The realization hit her like a hammer: if it had been a real fight, she would be dead.

"What... what kind of ninjutsu is that?" Tsunade asked, touching the wound on her cheek. "You didn't use any hand seals."

Chen lowered his hand, his face serious. "It's not ninjutsu. It's a skill comparable to a Kekkei Genkai. And remember, underestimating others is taboo in the ninja world."

Tsunade frowned, feeling uncomfortable being lectured by someone younger.

"Alright, Chen," she said, adopting a combat stance. "Let's see what you're really made of."

The ground under Tsunade's feet cracked from the force she was gathering. In the blink of an eye, she appeared behind Chen, her fist raised to strike.

Chen, with his hands in his pockets, simply tilted his head. Tsunade's fist barely grazed his hair.

"Come on, Tsunade," Chen said, not even turning to look at her. "Use all your strength. I won't go easy on you just because you're a woman."

Fury ignited in Tsunade's eyes. Using Soru, she began launching a series of devastating blows, each one charged with chakra.

But Chen moved as if he were a piece of paper in the wind. Every punch Tsunade threw found only air as Chen glided between her attacks with grace.

"Kami-e," Tsunade muttered, recognizing the technique.

Chen smiled. "It's your turn to defend yourself, Tsunade. Rankyaku."

With a movement of his leg, Chen sent a huge blade of compressed air towards Tsunade.

"Ha! I can dodge something like that easily," Tsunade said confidently.

But her smile faded when the blade split into countless tiny shards, surrounding her completely. There was no room to escape, not even with the Body Replacement Jutsu.

Tsunade wrapped her fists in chakra, frantically striking to destroy the approaching air blades. Just as she thought she had succeeded, another wave of blades appeared in the sky.

"Damn it!" Tsunade growled, her body moving to the limit to dodge and defend herself.

From a distance, Kushina watched with her mouth agape. The battle before her seemed like something out of a legend, as if two gods were clashing.

"Incredible," Kushina whispered, her eyes fixed on Chen. "I never imagined he was this strong."

Admiration swelled in her chest. She had always respected Tsunade, but seeing Chen handle her so easily... it was something entirely different.

Chen, noticing Kushina's gaze, winked at her before turning his attention back to Tsunade.

"Incredible," Tsunade murmured, wiping the sweat from her forehead. "You've been launching Rankyaku after Rankyaku without showing signs of fatigue. At this rate, your stamina should be depleting quickly."

Chen, with his hands in his pockets and a relaxed smile, shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe I have more energy than I seem to."

Tsunade narrowed her eyes, analyzing the situation. She had been using Rankyaku to defend herself, and she knew firsthand how much stamina the technique required. Watching a 5-year-old boy launch it repeatedly was simply baffling.

"You shouldn't be able to maintain this pace," Tsunade said, preparing for another attack. "It's impossible that..."

Her words were abruptly cut off when she felt a presence behind her.

"Impossible?" Chen's voice whispered in her ear. "I think you need to reconsider your definition of impossible, Tsunade."

Tsunade's eyes widened as she realized the Chen who had been launching the attacks was just a Shadow Clone.

Which dissipated in a puff of smoke, and before she could react, she felt the impact of a kick to her ribs. The force of the blow sent her flying like a bullet across the field.

At the last second, Tsunade managed to perform the Body Replacement Jutsu, substituting herself with a piece of wood that shattered upon impact.

Reappearing a few meters away, Tsunade clutched her side, panting. "Damn it," she growled. "If I hadn't reacted in time, that hit could have killed me."

Chen appeared in front of her, walking calmly as if he were taking a stroll in the park. "Oh, don't worry," he said with a carefree smile. "I had everything under control. Even if the hit had landed, I would have stopped the force at the last moment. Although," he added with a wink, "I admit it was fun to see your panicked expression."

Tsunade frowned, but before she could reply, Chen continued:

"By the way, did you notice anything different at the last moment?"

Tsunade blinked, confused. "What do you mean?"

"Your Observation Haki," Chen said. "You unconsciously awakened it during the crisis. Quite impressive, I must say."

Tsunade's eyes widened in surprise. Now that Chen mentioned it, she could feel it. Her perception of her surroundings had sharpened drastically. She could detect the slightest disturbance in the air, sense the presence of every living being within a 30-meter radius.

"This is... incredible," Tsunade murmured, marveling at her new ability.

Chen nodded, satisfied. "Now you'll be able to detect any disguise or deception within your perception range. Quite useful, don't you think?"

Tsunade looked at him, now with respect on her face. "How is it possible that you're so strong?"

Chen stretched lazily. "Oh, you know, a bit of this, a bit of that. Years of experience condensed into a 5-year-old package."
