"System!" Chen shouted, losing his patience. "Show me only the products from the Naruto universe!"
The screen flickered again, and this time, only items related to the Naruto universe remained.
Rubbing his hands together in excitement, he began browsing through the products, but his smile quickly faded. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu... Nothing A or S-rank?" he grumbled. "System, what kind of crap is this?! Not even a Rasengan!"
Grumbling, he focused on what he truly needed: a chakra refinement technique. He couldn't afford to waste his potential any longer.
After scrolling through the screen for what felt like an eternity, he finally found what he was looking for: 'Basic Chakra Refinement Technique'. Price: 1,000 coins.
"Bingo!" Chen exclaimed, hitting the buy button without hesitation. "Goodbye, my thousand coins," he muttered. Though it hurt to spend his points, he knew it was a necessary investment.
[Thank you for your purchase! Your items have been deposited in the backpack.]
Chen smiled, satisfied. "Alright, let's see what else I can buy."
He scrolled through the list again, but this time with less enthusiasm. Most of the items were B or C-rank techniques, useful but not powerful enough for his ambitions.
"Nothing worth it," he murmured, disappointed. "I guess I'll have to settle for this for now."
But just as he was about to close the store, a jutsu caught his eye: Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu, a powerful fireball technique that scaled with the user's chakra.
'Hmm, this could be useful,' he thought, remembering the impressive displays of this jutsu in the anime. The price was 10,000 coins, a bit steep, but Chen decided to go for it.
[Thank you for your purchase! Your items have been deposited in the backpack.]
"Ten thousand coins gone," he murmured sadly, watching his balance drop to 19,000. "But this jutsu will be my ace in the hole."
"Alright, system, let's see what else you've got..." he said, returning to the main page. His eyes landed on the Lottery tab.
With an expectant smile, he reached out and tapped the Lottery tab. The screen flickered and transformed into a large red rectangle with the words 'Lottery Start' written in black letters.
Leaning forward, his eyes scanned the screen eagerly. In the lower right corner, he noticed a small 'x3'.
"Three spins?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "System, what does this mean?"
The answer came in the form of a silent notification:
[The system grants you one free spin each year. Additionally, you will receive a 10,000 coin bonus.]
Chen raised an eyebrow, surprised by the system's unexpected generosity. "Not bad. And how can I get more coins and spins?"
True to its style, the system remained silent.
"Tsk, always so mysterious," Chen grumbled, but his smile didn't fade. "Well, I lose nothing by trying."
Pressing the red rectangle, the world around him faded in a flash.
He found himself in an infinite white space, with a giant roulette wheel floating in front of him. The wheel was divided into eight sections, each displaying a different item.
Chen held his breath as he looked at the prizes. His eyes widened upon recognizing the first option: a long, simple sword with a blazing aura that seemed capable of incinerating everything in its path.
"Yamamoto's Zanpakuto!" he shouted, recognizing the weapon. "With this, I could sweep through most of the shinobi world."
Suppressing his excitement, he moved to the next section, where another sword glowed with a bluish light. "Koga Kuchiki's Zanpakuto," he murmured. "Not as impressive as Yamamoto's, but... who am I kidding? It's useless to me."
The next section displayed a pair of eyes with changing colors, like a miniature rainbow. Chen felt a chill run down his spine as he read the name: "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception."
"This... this is too much," he whispered, fascinated. "With these eyes..."
The fourth section showed a yellow, lightning-shaped fruit. "The Goro Goro no Mi," Chen recognized, "The strongest Logia... it would be amazing, but I'll pass."
He frowned, recalling the Devil Fruit users' weakness to water. "No, I don't want such an obvious weakness."
The last four items were skill manuals: Observation Haki, Sword Mastery, Rasengan, and Rokushiki.
"Come on, Shibai Otsutsuki, bless me with your luck!" Chen exclaimed, clasping his hands in prayer. He closed his eyes and recited an improvised mantra.
With a final deep breath, he pressed the button in the center of the wheel. The mechanism sprang to life with an electric hum, and the wheel began to spin at a dizzying speed.
"Damn!" Chen exclaimed, stepping back. "This is faster than a Chidori!"
His lavender eyes followed the wheel's frenetic movement. "Not even my Tenseigan can keep up!"
The wheel began to slow, and the tension in the air became palpable.
The pointer passed over the Goro Goro no Mi, then the Mystic Eyes, and finally stopped... on Yamamoto's Zanpakuto!
A shout of joy escaped Chen's lips. "YES! I GOT IT!" he yelled, raising his arms.
But his celebration was abruptly cut short when the pointer jumped one more space, finally landing on the Rasengan manual.
Chen's smile froze on his face. "What?!" he exclaimed, incredulous. "A Rasengan?! I could have learned that myself!"
However, before he could continue lamenting, a sharp pain seized his head as the information and experience of countless Rasengan users flooded his mind. Minato, Naruto, Konohamaru... all their secrets and techniques etched into his memory as if they were his own.
When the pain subsided, Chen opened his eyes, feeling dizzy.
Just as the avalanche of information ceased, a notification appeared before him:
[Congratulations🎉! You have obtained the Rasengan. Your ninja skills are improving!]
"Well," he said, an arrogant smile curling his lips. "I guess it's not so bad after all."
Though he hadn't gotten the prize he wanted, Chen knew the Rasengan was a powerful and versatile technique. And thanks to the knowledge and experience he had absorbed, he could now use it with a mastery that surpassed even Naruto Uzumaki.
And with his pure Otsutsuki chakra, he could take it to levels never before seen.
"Two more spins," he told himself, clenching his fists.
