**HE IS MY MATE**

Carried in a convoy back to the house of a pronounced and rumored demon wasn't a small task or job to undertake but I couldn't show myself as weak or unstable.
I was omega but it wasn't visible in my wolf's fur or in my strength, only close related people knew I was an Omega and I had decided to keep it that way.
But being up close to this monster, my omega and weak self started tearing her head up and I did all I could to shut her out.
I couldn't even see his face properly, only his side profile was visible to me. Though his side profile didn't look eerie, I knew that he was nothing less than the demon he was acclaimed to be.
And that's what scared the shit out of me!
As I stared at the streets, I saw some pack members throwing pitiful glances at me and I removed my eyes, refusing to be pitied.
That wasn't my nature and no circumstance would make me yield to love being pitied.
I stared back at the place I called home and saw my mum and my step father waving towards me as they bade me farewell.
Seeing my mother wave at me with tears in her eyes was totally normal seeing that treacherous demon that called himself my step father waving at me.
It was like I could hear his voice saying and chanting in my head, "Goodluck on your journey to hell"
That tiny little smirk at the corner of his cheeks wasn't to be left unnoticed.
He was happy to finally get rid of me because as he always said, I was a threat to his throne.
He had drawn that theory because I had said once that if not for the evil culture of the pack, I was supposed to be the Alpha.
The female Alpha! But then the pack didn't accept females as Alpha's.
I just hissed and threw my head sideways as I was led back to the Midnight Stalkers Pack.
After several hours, we finally got there and the cordial way the pack member's received me was really warm and welcome and it made me begin to reconsider what I thought of the pack.
Now here comes my initial thought of the pack!
If their Alpha who was rumored to be the twin brother of the devil was actually that grim then his pack members were no doubt, tiny little demons.
"Welcome Sonya." That was what rented the air from the packs gate till I got to the palace and it didn't stop till I was inside a room.
I have to ask sometime later if this pack has a Twitter feed or something they used to transmit information because even the Alpha didn't know my name was Sonya till like some hours ago.
So how did everyone, literally everyone know who I was and even to the extent of knowing my name?
Well, I shouldn't ask about that now!!
I should just focus on the moment and try not to pass out.
The smiles plastered on the faces of the pack members made me begin to think if there was something else they were celebrating because it's quite hard to believe that they were this happy because I was brought into their pack.
The possibility of that is really slim.
Well, I eventually got led into the room by one of the girls I presumed was a maid.
"This is the Alpha's room and would be your room too until the Alpha decides you need a room." She said and flashed me a very bright smile that I welcomed with all my heart.
"But why do I have to be in the same room with him? Surely, his Luna would have a problem with it." I started looking for a mode of escape.
"Well, he hasn't seen and proclaimed anyone as his luna yet but bringing you home, we wish he would pronounce you his Luna." She said and I could feel the sincerity in her voice.
Wow!
"Wow, how could you even wish that? You don't know my character or behavior and you want me to be Luna." I said, grumbling inside of my head. I was tired of the conversation suddenly.
Maybe because she had talked about me being their Luna!
There's no way I could turn out to be their Luna, I was just a possession.
Oh no, Sonya!! Never! No one owns me even if he paid a certain amount to those that own me.
"I'll leave you to adjust to the new environment. Please, feel comfortable and if you ever need anything.. make sure to call me up." She said and I nodded, also managing to give off a bright smile that I wasn't even feeling.
Woah, it actually feels so burdening to fake smiles.
And as she left, I slumped into the bed.
Can this day get any worse?
Soon, I heard footsteps stomping pike coming in the direction of the room and I sincerely hope it wasn't what I was thinking.
Well, my hopes were dashed as Alpha Blade pushed the door open and revealed his face. This might be the first time for me to set my eyes on him and I wasn't ready for it.
The devil himself!
The grim reaper!
He sends people to the underworld!!
He could be compared to ghost face in the stab movie series!
I shut my eyes tightly and I felt him approaching me with heavy steps.
He leaned in closer and said:
"Hello kitten." The sound of his voice made me feel tingly and wet.
Dear heavens! Did I just say wet?
That could never be my thoughts, how sinful!!
I just kept my eyes tightly shut because I'm not ready to see how eerie he looked.
"Maybe you're ready to open your eyes now, doll." He said and I slowly opened my eyes, my
heart filled with anticipation.
But as I set my eyes on his face, my wolf chanted within me.
"Mate!."
