In the cozy confines of the inn room, Felix reclined on the chair, engrossed in studying the intricate details of his status while eating his breakfast that was given to him by the inn.

His thoughts raced as he observed how swiftly he elevated the Acting skill to the Master rank, contemplating the ease of reaching its maximum potential. The absence of acquiring a new skill didn't perturb him, for his focus lay on advancing his time spells to attain the elusive middle rank.
Yet, there lingered an enigma surrounding the system's status. Pondering over this, Felix directed an inquiry:
[Host, the system designates a normal human as number 1, and when in the 2nd position, it signifies double the strength of a typical mortal. The Host, being four times stronger than a mortal, results from the previous body owner's rigorous muscle training and herbal fortification.]
With that said, Felix began to wonder about the system's status and the difference between Intelligence and Mana Capacity.
[Host; Intelligence represents the speed of your mind, not the actual mind—although it could be termed as such, the mind, in this context, is a higher concept that the host hasn't awakened yet and must attain the requisite level. Mana Capacity is a numerical indicator of your mana reserves. To breach the middle rank, a 6 Mana Capacity is requisite; for the peak middle rank, 12 Mana Capacity is needed, and for the high peak, 19 Mana Capacity. To ascend to rank one, 20 is mandatory, followed by a subsequent boost related to the quality of your mana core! The process to advance from rank 1 to rank 2 is an entirely different matter.]
With the system explaining, Felix nodded his head in understanding. His ever-changing thoughts shifted again, and he began to think about what to eat, the name of this little town he is living in, and what he could do to become powerfull faster as his enemy doesn´t wait for him. While the notion of plundering and killing for resources crossed his mind, he foresaw the potential for unwanted attention. With a resigned sigh, he chose the path of subtlety, opting for strategic plundering of herbs and essential resources to expedite his progression.
As he planned, Felix thought about visiting a black market for a mask that could hide his face and avoid detection. However, that was for another day. For now, he decided to relax and wander around in this little town. Seeing the carefree lives of the citizens, he couldn't help but reflect on his rebirth, his escape from his old world, the sacrifices he made, and his pursuit of "absolute freedom."
He saw for the first time how people laughed and lived in this world, and there were no crimes, no disputes, just peace, as they were free without a single care about the outside world. As Felix observed this carefreeness from the citizens in this town, he could not help but think about himself, about his rebirth, how he escaped his old world like a cage, the sacrifices he made to embrace the chance, and his singular goal in life: 'absolute freedom.' When he beheld the little town, he once again remembered it and felt disgust for the people who dared to think they had achieved it. Felix can tolerate many things—murder, slaughter, betrayal, the use of him—but he could not care less about it; he doesn't feel any kind of heartbroken emotions, he doesn't care about it. However, when people claim they can promise eternal peace and freedom, but in reality, it's just momentary peace and fake freedom, these are the kind of people whom Felix cannot help but hate. Because of Felix's goal towards absolute freedom, he despises most rulers who govern people without absolute power, transcending the concepts of fate and destiny. They are not real rulers but individuals who were allowed by destiny and fate to become rulers in their little stories that they write.
Strolling through the town, Felix made his way to the bustling market. Among the myriad stalls, he discovered a shop selling masks. He purchased a temporary black mask, punctuated with holes for eyes and nose—a pragmatic choice until he could secure a more sophisticated one from the black market.
Returning to the inn room after a day of contemplation and extending his stay, Felix, fueled by newfound determination, began the meticulous process of crafting his inaugural time spell, laying the foundation for his magical journey in this enigmatic realm.
