If your body is too accustomed to the weight, it won't contribute to it either. The speed of your run must be sufficiently challenging to count towards your task.

My hunches turned out to be right. The System seems to tailor quests based on the choices I make in this Trial.

Whether the decisions revolved around my identity as 'Libert Mulling' in this world or choices that could aid me in all future Trials, I received a series of "chain quests" tied to those decisions.

For quests linked to my identity as 'Libert Mulling,' they were relatively straightforward tasks, such as assisting with maid duties or accompanying my sister on shopping trips.

The latter was a bit challenging, given her strong disdain for 'me', but I managed to navigate through it.

It's easy to label these kinds of quests as the result of the first choice I took in this Trial, but I must be cautious of never allowing myself to think this cannot change in the future. 

In essence, these quests were manageable, not requiring much effort, and rewarded me with one or two levels, depending on their complexity.

I have exploited the System as such to gain quite a few levels.

On the other hand, quests related to Akira Bashira took a different trajectory. These quests were demanding and time-consuming, but the returns were substantial.

I'm still in the middle of ticking off these quests, and to be honest, I'm not worrying about it.

Sure, there's a tiny chance that defeating Yor might let me bail out of this first Trial early. But that's not my game plan.

Even if, by some cosmic accident, I manage to take Yor down, what then? The second Trial's likely to kick my ass even harder, with someone much more difficult to beat, or worse, to kill. A fluke victory can happen once, not twice.

My strategy is simple: throw everything I've got at Yor when it makes sense—either when I've got nothing left to gain in this World, or I reach the time limit.

For now, it's all about gathering intel.

So, my days as Libert Mulling roll on. I'm juggling diverse training routines, throwing in a good dose of books.

Today marks my 30th day in the [Spy x Family] World.

I've settled into a routine so tight that time just slips away. I only notice the countdown when I glance at the timer I've been checking religiously, realizing today is the curtain call for my stay here.

Quests-wise, I've given it my all, but let's face it, a day only stretches so far. Even with my mad rush to squeeze in that extra 1%, I couldn't keep at it without some breaks. My body has limits, after all.

Now, why am I stuck at 97% on the sword training quest? Well, it's the search for a unique way to use my sword.

Talent might be about mastering what is known naturally to your body, but thinking outside that constructed box isn't as easy as snapping my fingers.

It's not just brainstorming; finding what I am tasked to is like hunting for a needle in a haystack. I've hit a wall, and until I find that unique way, I'm just spinning my wheels.

Time to invest my skill points.

The Skill Shop's got options like [Karate], [Jump], and [Run]. Initially, I brushed them off, thinking they weren't that useful and were too pricey for my budget. Now, though, I've got some skill points to spare.

Dumping them all into leveling up my current skills would be the logical move. Sure, maxing out [Adaptive Evasion] might let me dodge a few attacks, but that's not exactly my goal here. I'm not trying to become some dodge master in the heat of combat.

I've got a different angle in mind—exploiting the System.

The skill descriptions suggest I can gain knowledge on how to fight just by having a skill. That got me thinking—how much can I bend the System to get insights into combat without actually fighting?

I put my strategy to the test, triggering [Adaptive Evasion] against various opponents before really diving into any actual fights. It worked. The skill granted me the basic knowledge to dodge attacks, even though I had no personal experience as of date.

Not exactly a badass hero, mind you. I fumbled through my initial attempts, but when the skill kicked in, I could dodge properly. That's all I cared about.

I needed to maximize the time I needed for everything, including the 'gain experience' part.

Encouraged by this success, I decided to splash out on [Karate] for 10 skill points. Why Karate? Because it's about defense, not offense. While it might not mesh well with weapons, learning Karate can keep me from looking like a clueless amateur.

After purchasing it, I discovered I had a basic grasp of Karate's principles. The stances felt oddly familiar, like I'd known for months. Ten points well spent.

Then came the letdown. Wanting to beef up the skill, I checked the upgrade cost.
