Ray, noticing Elaina's strange behavior, immediately realized that she was hiding something from him.
However, Ray remained silent because he still had no clue about the issue Elaina was facing. He felt it would be impolite to ask directly. Even though he really had no clue.
Ray decided to make the atmosphere more comfortable. He asked, "Hey, Elaina... How is Mr. Alex?"
Elaina immediately turned serious and replied, "He is fine."
"Thank goodness for that, how long until he wakes up?"
"I don't know..."
"It will probably be quite some time, considering he fought with Anderson to that extent."
