A young boy with blue hair was walking with one of his friends. The boy was wearing a high school uniform. He was one of the few students who were summoned to another world. The boy's name was Robert Downey.
He was walking towards a place after getting bored talking to the royal soldiers who escorted them to their respective rooms. Robert also invited a friend named Willy Smith to come with him, a boy with black hair and green eyes.
Without any reason, Robert invited Willy to go somewhere without thinking about anything, with a smile that made him look foolish.
With his messy hair, Willy asked while walking with Robert, "Bert... Where are we going?"
"Just come along for now, I'm bored."
"If it's not important, why did you suddenly invite me? I want to rest, you know, my mind is in chaos right now."
"Just relax a bit, besides, we're in another world now. We don't have to do school assignments or study, right? Why are you getting stressed?"
"Don't compare me to you, Bert. It's actually you who is too relaxed in a situation like this. Don't you miss your family?"
Robert's smile slowly faded as he looked down. Their walking speed also drastically decreased.
"I miss them too, how could I not miss my family? But it seems like we were summoned here for a reason that is not trivial. And we don't know when we'll be able to go back. Or maybe we won't be able to go back forever."
Willy finally understood as well. Looking down, he asked, "So... Why do you look happy, then?"
Robert returned with his smile again.
"Well, there's nothing I can do except wait for the explanation from the princess. She promised to explain later. So why not just enjoy the process? That's what I thought after contemplating for a long time at that moment."
Willy smiled because he felt happy and a little relieved seeing Robert's positive attitude and thoughts.
"You're really strange, Bert. But that's a great side of you."
Proudly, Robert pressed his chest with one hand, indicating that he was proud of himself. "Of course, I'm great."
Willy chuckled, "Seriously, you never change."
"Do you think so?"
"Yes, I'm very sure of it."
"Why are you so sure?"
"How many years do you think I've known you?"
"Well, even if what you say is true, I don't really care about that either. Because even if I change someday, I will still be myself."
Willy was slightly surprised to hear Robert's words.
"I'm confused about you, sometimes your thoughts seem naive. But sometimes it sounds cool to me. I envy you, Bert."
"I envy you more, you have a very beautiful sister. Are you aware of that? Every boy in our class is always jealous of you whenever your sister is talking to you."
"Really?"
While pretending to be scared while hugging himself, Robert said, "Yes, I'm sure because I often hang out with you guys. Sometimes I also feel the impact and get the killer looks."
"They wouldn't go as far as to kill you."
"Let it sound dramatic."
"You watch too many movies."
"Let it be, what's wrong with a guy wanting to look cool?"
"But in my eyes, you look like a kid right now."
"What do you mean by that?"
Robert got angry at Willy and talked about unclear things.
While Robert was explaining that he was no longer a child, Willy just listened and laughed.
Willy stopped laughing for a moment, thinking about something.
"Hey Bert, do you think Jimmy is jealous of me too when I'm close to Mia?"
With an annoyed tone, Robert answered, "Listen to me! Even though you're family, a guy will definitely be jealous of you as long as you're also a guy, you know!"
Willy was also annoyed because Robert misunderstood his question.
"That's not what I meant, idiot! I'm not asking about the truth, I believe you. Besides, you're too dumb to lie, Robert."
"I'm not dumb!" Robert replied with annoyance.
Willy smiled, seeing Robert's reaction. Then he pondered for a moment and asked again, "Bert, do you think all the guys in our class are jealous? All of them?"
Robert finally understood what Willy wanted to ask him.
"Why are you curious about that? If you know the truth, is there something you want to do?"
"No... There's nothing, I'm just curious about it. It's a little enjoyable to know that there are many other people who are jealous of me. Because usually, I'm the one who is jealous of others."
Robert fell silent for a moment hearing his friend's words.
"It seems like you look at yourself too low."
"It's not me who looks at myself too low. But seeing great people around me makes me look low. You see, Jimmy, just with his face, I'm sure all women would want to date him. And our class president is also a great person, he even tries to calm everyone down in a situation like this. Even you..."
Willy glanced briefly at Robert.
"Me?"
Willy shook his head, trying to hide his feelings, "No, forget it."
"What's that? Don't make me curious! Come on, tell me."
"Even if I die, I won't tell you."
"You admit that I'm great, right?"
"Wha- No, it's just your arrogance," trying to lie.
"Look at that, that's the face of someone who is lying," Robert replied with a tease. He laughed so loudly that he didn't realize that his laughter was very loud and could be heard from a far distance.
Seeing Robert's childish behavior made Willy smile.
Then, for a moment, he thought of something and said again, "Bert, do you think Jimmy is jealous of me too?"
Robert thought while holding his chin, "Hmm... I don't think so. Besides, dealing with beautiful women must be a daily routine for him."
"You're right, I also think the same. What about Harry?"
"That strict glasses guy? Honestly, I don't like him. Besides, it's unlikely that he would be interested in something like that. His mind has always been about money, money, and money. He would even ask for money from others he helps, claiming it's his own fee."
"He's not wrong, though. But his personality can be admitted to be bad for some people. I'm curious, what was he thinking when he first came to this world with us?"
"Maybe this time he wants to extort the kingdom?"
Robert laughed again.
Willy murmured while smiled, "I see... You really do hate him."
After Robert burst into laughter, he remembered someone he knew.
Robert suddenly asked, "What about Ray?"
"Ray? Why him?"
"No, I'm just curious about him. Somehow, in some aspects, he's even worse than you. Do you think he would care about something like this and feel jealous?"
"I don't know, I can't even understand what goes on in his mind. Especially knowing the condition he has, it makes him even more mysterious. I don't think he would care about things like women, youth, or anything of that sort."
"At first, I just thought of him as a crazy and weird person. I could confidently say that Ray is the craziest and weirdest person I've ever met.
But after learning the truth about him, I don't know if I should consider him crazy like before.
Maybe this feeling is called pity? What about you, Wil?"
"Yes, I'm sure it's pity, Bert. Because I feel the same way."
Robert and Willy continued their journey, unsure of their destination. They exited the doors of the mansion, which was quite large, and walked into the garden.
They noticed a large gate ahead of them. They also realized that it was already nighttime, as they couldn't see the sun in the sky.
They strolled around the garden and stumbled upon a familiar pathway. It was a unique and wide path, quite unusual to be located next to the garden. The path had a special gate that separated the garden area from the area surrounding the large building within the area.
As they realized this, they finally understood that they had returned to the starting point where they first arrived in this world.
They also noticed two guards stationed there. The two soldiers stood tall, chatting and laughing together, making Robert and Willy realize that the royal guards were not as fierce as they had imagined before.
Knowing that there was seemingly nothing more to do in this place, Willy wanted to leave.
"Hey Bert, let's just go back to our rooms. Instead of disturbing those who are on duty."
"Why? Can't we chat with them? Come on, let's hang out with them."
"You're such a hassle, you know that? Come on, just come with me, let's go back," Willy forcefully pulled Robert's hand.
"Fine... Fine, I can walk on my own, you know!"
At that moment, a shout was heard from inside the large building. The guards stationed at the entrance rushed in with panicked and anxious faces.
Seeing and hearing this, Robert and Willy were also intrigued to see what was happening inside the building. They instinctively ran and followed the two guards who had entered first.
Eventually, they entered and were faced with a strange sight that would confuse anyone seeing it for the first time.
The two guards who had entered earlier drew their swords, which they had kept in their scabbards.
Both of their swords were pointed in the same direction. It was towards a teenage boy in a high school uniform who was hugging a girl in a beautiful dress. The girl wore a plain white dress with floral motifs around it, making Robert and Willy realize that she was the princess they had encountered when they first arrived in this world.
The teenage boy was also someone Robert and Willy knew. His name was Ray, an ordinary high school student who had been dragged into this other world with them.
The situation left Robert and Willy feeling shocked. Before him stood one of his classmates, hugging a princess who was bleeding from her mouth.
Everyone in the room had the same thought. They all believed that Ray had killed the princess.
