Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Languages of the Three Kingdoms

"Very well, you may leave," the woman uttered without even glancing at him, perusing through resumes while parting her vermilion lips slightly to pronounce the word.

"Hey, beauty, why don't you take a look? My qualifications are genuine. Unlike that lad, he seems to have acquired a stack of counterfeit diplomas from a street vendor," the hefty man hesitated for a moment, then grumbled in dissatisfaction.

"You don't have the right to ask me to review your qualifications," the woman glanced at him, stating flatly.

"I don't have the right? Are you kidding? Why didn't you tell that troublemaker earlier that he didn't have the right? Instead, you're saying I don't have the right?" The hefty man grew furious, pounding the table with a brash demeanor, looking like a ruffian.

"Get security," the woman ignored him and turned to the staff nearby.

"Security? What's so remarkable about security? Even if you call a hundred, it's futile. Do you know who my father is? My father is..." The hefty man smirked disdainfully.

"Your father is Mr. Li? Otherwise, why else would you be named 'Li Xiaogang'? Tsk tsk, indeed resembling a vat," Lin Yu, standing behind him and watching the spectacle, couldn't help but chuckle.

"What's it to you? Go to hell..." Li Xiaogang finally found an outlet for his anger, turning around and pointing fingers at Lin Yu, cursing fiercely.

Just as he spoke, Lin Yu's gaze turned cold. He seized his clothes, lifted him up, and with a forceful throw, sent him flying backward. Li Xiaogang flailed wildly through the air in a heart-stopping arc, crashing into a pillar with a loud bang, then rolled on the ground for a while before slowly getting up, clutching his head, and scurrying away.

"Aah..." The surrounding people gasped in shock, feeling as though their teeth were being pulled. My, oh my! How much strength did it take to throw a person that far? Li Xiaogang weighed at least two hundred catties. This seemingly indigent young man just flung him three or four meters away? Was he a reincarnation of Hercules?

Instantly, around Lin Yu, a circle dispersed at lightning speed, with a radius of no less than five meters. Nobody dared provoke this seemingly affable yet incredibly fierce individual.

The bespectacled man, who had mocked him earlier, regretted deeply. Why did he tease this gentleman? He himself was as thin as a chicken. If this person wanted to toss him, wouldn't he end up at the entrance?

He shrank back, genuinely wishing to disappear immediately. However, looking at the Vice Principal of Mingren High School in the distance, he couldn't help but gulp. Such a stunning lady wouldn't be seen even in a decade. He really didn't want to leave and intended to linger around for a bit longer to feast his eyes.

Lin Yu disregarded everyone, clapped his hands, slung his bag over his shoulder, and prepared to leave.

"Wait," the woman stood up, gently tapping the table, issuing a command more than a request, an attitude she seemed accustomed to—understandably, with her level of beauty.

However, the moment she stood up, infinite charm graced the precipice.

Two towering peaks almost seemed about to burst the bodice of her office attire. The sound of swallowing saliva reverberated around; it was simply too majestic and grandiose.

Moreover, her slender waist, barely enough to grasp, made the two peaks appear even more towering, creating a scene of awe-inspiring grandeur.

"Planning to hire me?" Lin Yu grinned, turning around.

The woman glanced deeply at him, picking up one of his educational photocopies.

The bespectacled man couldn't resist his curiosity, craning his neck to peek, only to be disappointed as the text was entirely in French, and he didn't recognize a single word.

"You attended Lyon University in France, studying Art History and Archaeology?" the woman suddenly asked in French.

"Absolutely, for three years. However, I wasn't that proficient; even the tomb raiders didn't want me," Lin Yu shrugged and replied in fluent French, as if he were a native Frenchman.

For those knowledgeable, it was evident he had put in tremendous effort to master this language.

The woman's demeanor remained calm, but her eyes lit up noticeably. Once again, she glanced deeply at him and picked up another photocopy, "You pursued Psychology at Leipzig University in Germany?"

Switching to another language, this time German, she effortlessly displayed her formidable language talents.

"I studied a bit. Actually, if you delve into psychology, it's quite fascinating. As a side note, I happen to be an excellent psychologist and can offer you consultations regarding psychological issues free of charge," Lin Yu responded in German, just as fluent and natural, as if he were a born German.

"I have no issues; no need to consult you. Did you also study Social Management at Complutense University in Madrid, Spain?" The woman gave him a cold glance, switching to Spanish this time.

"Wow, the lady is remarkably skilled. She's nearly caught up to my language proficiency," Lin Yu marveled to himself, instantly looking at the woman with newfound respect.

Underneath her icy exterior beauty lay an incredibly sharp mind. She was the epitome of both intelligence and beauty, a combination that took Lin Yu somewhat by surprise. Yet, upon reflection, with Mingren High School being so prestigious and formidable, could the Vice Principal be an ordinary person?

"Indeed, I studied Social Management. As a side note, Principal Sister, your Spanish isn't as proficient as your French and German, slightly accented and not entirely pure, akin to a villager from Spain," Lin Yu grinned, commenting cheerfully.

"Understood," the woman nodded calmly, which surprised Lin Yu. He had expected a woman like her to have a stronger sense of pride and might have lashed out at his slight jab, yet she remained remarkably composed.

In the

course of their conversation, they had smoothly transitioned through German, French, and Spanish. The surrounding onlookers were dumbfounded, feeling as though they were witnessing something surreal.

Haven't seen a pig walking, but surely seen one run? Instantly, all eyes turned toward Lin Yu, their gazes becoming extremely complex, expressing a mix of envy, jealousy, and admiration, along with an indescribable feeling.

Regardless of whether the credentials were genuine, an applicant proficient in these three languages was likely a rarity in the entire Haifu Tower at present. What constitutes a talent? This is talent.

Even a fool could now see that with these three foreign languages alone, Lin Yu could undoubtedly be considered a high-end talent.

For a moment, Lin Yu became the focal point of all attention, making him feel slightly uncomfortable.
