Generally speaking, the threshold for practicing mid-grade Dao Techniques of class A is the cultivation at the Inner Mansion Realm.
This so-called practice threshold can be described directly like this: if practicing a low-grade Dao Technique of class A just requires pushing a single power source to its limit, then some mid-grade Dao Techniques of class A must be based on two, three, or even four or five power sources, constituting an insurmountable cultivation threshold.
However, some people with exceptional innate talent can naturally lower the requirements for certain, or even a whole category of, Dao Techniques, or inherently drive a Dao Technique with less consumption than cultivators of the same realm. For example, Wang Changxiang of Fenglin City with his Wind Sparrow True Spirit and Zhang Linchuan with his Thunder Snake True Spirit, both could master Dao Techniques beyond their levels.
