Yun Country is located to the northeast of Zhuang Country, with numerous mountains within its borders.
As the capital of Yun Country, Yun City is situated atop the tallest Mount Baoxue within its territory.
When Yun City was first established, due to the harsh environment at the foot of the mountain, the Pavilion Master of Lingxiao Pavilion leveled the mountain to create a platform and built the city upon the high mountain.
Subsequent main cities in Yun Country were then built following this precedent.
Because cities were generally built atop high mountains, situated at extremely high altitudes, as if above the clouds, the country came to be known as the Nation above the Clouds.
There are two paths leading up to Yun City, one is the cableway connecting it to other main cities, and the other is the massive stone staircase built from the foot of the mountain, which is also known as the Ascension Steps.
