"What should I do?" Jiang Wang asked.
"First, leave this place," Bai Lian said. "Leave the beast cage here, and don't take anything with you."
Jiang Wang set down the beast cage, and Bai Lian stepped on it, crushing the two cages into dust. Two items that could be called treasures simply vanished into thin air.
"But they can be destroyed," she said.
The two made their way back the same path, again draping themselves in beast skins, passing by the two Procuratorate monks who were still unconscious. Just like when they came up the mountain, they easily crossed the territory of the Fierce Beasts and walked down toward the foot of the mountain.
"What does the top of the mountain look like?" Jiang Wang asked.
Bai Lian continued walking without pausing, "You wouldn't want to know. Once you've seen the grandeur of Jade Balance Peak, you might not be willing to destroy it."
"Then forget it," Jiang Wang said.
