Qing Bazi held a human head in his left hand and pulled on the vines with his right.
The head rested against his chest.
The vines were extremely long, dangling down to the bottom of the fruit house.
His eight braids were neatly parted to either side.
Qing Qishu seemed to have some animosity towards him, his face set in a frown as he approached.
But Qing Bazi gently stepped aside, bypassing him, and said with a joyous expression, "Qinghua, have you come to welcome me?"
"Bazhi!" Before the Holy Maiden of Qing could speak, Qing Qishu had turned back with a stern face, blocking his path. "What is this about a Dragon God's envoy that you mentioned?"
Qing Bazi peered at Qinghua, Qishu was not as tall as him, but he raised himself on his toes, moving from side to side, always obstructing his view.
"Qishu, I truly underestimated you," Qing Bazi eventually could no longer ignore him. "You went on a holy hunt with Jiu Ye, and to think it was you who came back alive?"
