As Ivita's clone was simultaneously monitoring both sides of Ambros and infiltrating them to start investigating the forces involved with Ambros, Ivita, the Hearthstone Witch, and Kristin had already left the castle and entered the thick forest.
The Hearthstone Witch asked Kristin, "Why are the trees here getting denser and denser, with nothing around, not even a village? Are you sure you haven't led us astray?"
"And there are more and more magical creatures here."
No sooner had the Hearthstone Witch finished speaking than Kristin notched and loosed an arrow from her bow towards the jungle. The hunting arrow, wrapped in astonishing Evil Qi, pierced the spine of a dinosaur-like magical creature and then disintegrated it.
Ivita recognized the magical creature, a Clawed Crawling Lizard that a witch apprentice had fallen into.
The Hearthstone Witch couldn't help but walk over to Kristin and slap her shoulder. "Is this place reliable at all?"
