The Treasure Chest Monster seemed pleasantly surprised. "So, I'm not entirely useless after all. You've spoken the truth, once you've passed the first test, it's only fair to reward you with entry to the next level."
"The second floor is filled with volumes of spell books—eight thousand in total, but if you're able to memorize just a thousand of them in full, you'll be permitted access to the final level—the level housing the truly valuable books."
Ivita arched an eyebrow.
After all, even just memorizing a thousand spell books—without necessarily understanding them—was an absolutely ludicrous idea.
