Ivita looked at the insect men hiding among the crowd with confusion. "Who are you?"
The insect men in the crowd all laughed grimly.
They stepped out from the fearful crowd.
"We thought a clueless fool came to Lombardy Duchy to look for trouble with us."
"You don't know anything, not even who we are."
"Every person in the Lombardy Duchy swears loyalty to the Iron Crown at birth. But if they betray this oath, they will be punished and become puppets of the Iron Crown. They will live and die on this land, controlled by the Iron Crown whether they are alive or dead."
Ivita looked at the group of grinning insect men and calmly said, "I have three questions. You said these people betrayed the Iron Crown. What did they do?"
A fat man in his middle age with both eyes eaten by black bugs, causing terror and nauseating onlookers said to Ivita, "One question at a time, foreigner not under the jurisdiction of Iron Crown Law."
