Ivita frowned, finding it strange that a three-generation vampire of Lord Wilson's stature could have come back from a visit to the Duchy of Lombardy in such a pitiful state, and become so cryptic.
Ivita stood up and said to Wilson, "What exactly happened? Explain clearly."
Wilson was about to speak, but abruptly collapsed onto the ground.
"Lord Wilson!" Butler Joe Joseph exclaimed in surprise.
The two servants behind Butler Joe Joseph were also terrified, not knowing why this was happening.
The Hearthstone Witch beside Ivita went over to examine the collapsed Wilson and said to Ivita, "He should be fine because he is a vampire, and a high-ranking one at that. But there is some kind of evil force in his body trying to kill him. His innate vampire ability to defy death is clashed with this force, causing Wilson to collapse into unconsciousness."
"I fear he managed to return to Upper City of Cross Island solely by willpower."
