On the tremendous stone wall, many half-bodied people, only half the size of a regular human, were visible. Each one of them had belly swelling as though they were pregnant, appearing very large.

In Ivita's eyes, these half-bodied people living on the well's stone wall were like cliff-dwelling deer, leading hard lives.
