The following morning, they set sail, leaving behind The Church and its people in Ravenna. Not long after they departed, a squadron of knights, bearing the Church's banner, stormed into the dock they had previously occupied.
The leading Superior Knight exuded an intimidating power, his armor gleaming under the sunlight, as if bathed in divinity.
With a full voice, the Superior Knight declared, "I am a detective knight of Albert Monastery. Are the guests from Ambros staying here?"
"Have them come out to see me."
"The Abbot of Albert Monastery wishes to meet with them. Bring them out immediately."
The dock's proprietor came out with his employees, giving the knight a once-over, raising two fingers. "Firstly, they have already left."
"Secondly, this is our privately contracted property, not associated with The Church."
