A day and a half later, Ivita and Kristin returned to their territory.
To Kristin's surprise, she finally learned how special Ivita's territory was. It was situated on the only path to the west that led into Ambros Country.
As they passed through a village in their carriages, Ivita noticed that civilians from four villages had largely rebuilt their homes. The remaining issues were merely minor disputes over field divisions. The reconstructed villages, built with red bricks and green stones, were like something out of a fairy tale, beautiful and extraordinary.
Compared to the previous villages made of hay, mud, and wood, it was as if they were in a different world.
One could hardly recognize them as the former villages of Baron Moro's territory.
Kristin said to Ivita, "I have visited many territories in Ambros, but yours is certainly among the richest."
"I honestly never thought you'd be such a good lord."
Ivita raised an eyebrow at her, "Don't judge a book by its cover."
