So out of these three spells, only the Cloak of Destruction is a defensive magic, while the other two are offensive spells.
But right now she is not lacking in offensive means, the other two spells are quite useless for her. Even if she learned them, at most she would have learnt one more spell similar to the Lightning Curse and Damage curse.
What she lacks is defensive means.
Now, the only defensive measure she has is the defensive white magic that the fairies gave her.
The Cloak of Black Magic is more suitable for her. It can defend, attack in close combat, and even fly, it's multifunctional.
