All mid-to-high-ranking officers in the military district of the southern hills had heard Ivita's voice. Some were skeptical, some had already begun to believe, and in any case, the morale of the entire district's troops had significantly diminished.
This allowed Ivita's forces, when passing through these fortifications, to almost only face the Dragon Flame within each of them.
In the following two days, the pace of the march greatly increased.
During these two days, Mostos, the military commander of the district, took a group of officers and troops to the mountain location that Ivita had proactively provided, to meet with Ivita and confirm that Ivita had rescued almost all the nobles' wives and families from within the Royal Capital. This caused the entire southern hills military district, the largest fortress group defense line within the Alsace Kingdom, to almost completely abandon any resistance.
