The appearance of Boots Cat took everyone by surprise, but also seemed to offer a glimmer of hope.
The Hearthstone Witch looked dubiously at the bovine feline. "What can a mere cat do?" she questioned.
"So you're Boots Cat? You just look like an ordinary cat to me."
Boots Cat twirled a fruit knife in his paw, peeled an apple, and passed it to Milani. "A true gentleman never lets a lady go hungry or thirsty. Meow!" he declared.
Milani's jaws dropped in response. "What?!"
The Hearthstone Witch felt slighted by the cat's indifference, but remained undeterred. "Turns out he's nothing but a flirtatious cat."
Pan turned his eyes towards the Titan Giant Dragon holding the Thunder Spear once again. He said to Boots Cat, "Regardless of what you plan to do, you must first stop the Giant Dragon from attacking us. Be it stopping time or annihilating thunder, you have to act quickly."
Boots Cat wiped sweat off his forehead. "You're putting too much faith in me."
