"What is this garbage? Is this swill? Even pigs wouldn't eat it!"
Inside the Underground City of X City Base, a large group of 16-year-olds was raising a ruckus, hollered, tall and burly, with shrill voices, they looked rather intimidating.
In front of them was the communal dining window, where an electronic screen indicated the standard three meals a day for each refugee.
Breakfast is a bowl of millet porridge, a portion of pickles, and a bun.
Lunch is two buns, a portion of potato stew with cabbage, a portion of chicken fried with mushrooms, an apple or tangerine.
Dinner is a bowl of noodles with jalapeno eggplant stew.
Children under fifteen get an additional egg for breakfast and a cup of milk for dinner.
Overall, these are refugee meals that everyone is satisfied with. Considering the chaos out there, what more can you ask for from the government that provides shelter and food? Even kindergarteners are satisfied.
