"Time to eat!"
Qi Mei's mother happily placed the last dish on the kitchen table, and casually asked,
"Little one, where is your sister?"
"Her? She'll be back after a while, mom. Let's not wait for her, let's eat!"
Wei Cheng casually served himself a large bowl of rice and sat at the dining table. He enjoyed his meal very much. It wasn't about the taste of the food, it was about the entire family being together, whole and complete.
After a few brushes with death, he had quickly matured.
"That rascal of a girl is getting out of control, college entrance exams are coming up soon, and yet she is always nowhere to be found. Do you think she's dating someone?"
Mom suddenly changed the subject, initiating an unexpected attack.
"Dating someone?"
Weicheng was slightly surprised, then shaking his head, "I have no clue about her affairs. There is a generation gap between us. Our talk doesn't match frequently."
