Hearing Assad speak like this, Link was quite surprised.
Last time in the Fairy World, when Assad revealed to Link that he had been promoted to a Third Level Wizard.
A Third Level Wizard joining an organization where the founder was only a Second Level Wizard was more surprising than Sandra joining.
"I'm sure!"
Assad nodded emphatically, affirmed in a manner beyond dispute.
Upon hearing this, Link fell silent, not knowing how to reply for a period of time.
It was not that Link did not dare accept Assad's request to join, or worried that Assad's joining would affect his position within 'Do Whatever You Like'.
Neither was it because he hadn't deduced why Assad did not choose to join the Clark Family after leaving the Palo Sage Army.
He was thinking about what "Do Whatever You Like" or Link Grande could offer Assad if he really chose to join.
