September 10th.
This expansive square lay east of the north-south thoroughfare. Approaching from the street, one would need to descend a long flight of stairs. The area was surrounded by numerous restaurants. Not only were the restaurants full, but stands were also set up in the spaces between, extending from one restaurant to the next.
Upon arriving, Pei Ye was utterly bewildered. Unable to move due to the dense crowd, he initially assumed he had already reached the edge, yet the competition arena was still far away!
Even though he was forewarned that the final day would attract larger crowds, he was unprepared for the sheer scale of people present.
Upon reaching the center of the arena and having helped Master Huang and the children navigate the crowd, Pei Ye was stunned by the overwhelming sea of people. It made him wonder: Could Bowang city really hold this many people?
